The present invention provides for a water retention polymer capable of retaining water for long durations and in huge amounts and the method of preparing the same. The polymer is capable of releasing the retained water slowly and as per the requirements of the crop and soil. Thus, the water retention polymer minimizes the water requirement during irrigation and other purposes. Further, the said polymer is eco-friendly, pollution free and completely biodegradable. The polymer can be used to grow plants on barren lands and marble slurry. The use of this polymer also minimizes the requirement of fertilizer for the crops. Further, the said water retention polymer is low-priced and hence affordable by farmers. The reduction in water requirement and fertilizer due to the use of this water retention polymer reduces 60% overall production cost for the farmers and hence results in more income generation from agriculture.

A food recycler includes a case, a control system within the case, and a set of user interface components that are usable to at least cause the control system to initiate a food recycling cycle. The food recycler also includes a motor within the case and a bucket that has a volumetric capacity between 2.51 and 10 liters. A filter system configured to accommodate air filters is also included in the case of the food recycler. To remove water from waste food items, the food recycler includes a drying component.

This invention concerns a process for the manufacture of a biostimulant based on fermented seaweed extracts, natural compounds and living bacteria to stimulate the growth and general vigour of plants while improving crop yields and crop quality. The process developed includes a microbial fermentation extraction technology involving a bacterial consortium comprised of bacteria selected from 3 strains of Bacillus sp, which concentrates in a liquid solution many molecules, nutrients and bioactive substances of agronomic interest from five varieties of seaweed (Saccharina longicruris, Fucus vesiculosus, Ascophyllum nodosum, Chondrus crispus and Furcellaria lumbricalis) harvested in the cold coastal waters of the Canadian Maritime Provinces.
