There is provided a smart release potash fertilizer granule comprising a potash core; an extended release layer covering the potash core, wherein the extended release layer comprises water-swellable copolymeric nanoparticles and at least one water-soluble organic acid or water-soluble organic carboxylate salt; a controlled release layer covering the extended release layer, wherein the controlled release layer comprises water-swellable copolymeric nanoparticles; and an anticaking layer covering the controlled release layer, wherein the anticaking layer comprises water-insoluble copolymeric nanoparticles.
IMPROVED UREA-BASED BLEND COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR THE MANUFACTURE THEREOF
The invention relates to a particulate urea-based blend composition comprising a urea-based compound in particulate form and one or more components in particulate form, selected from the group of nitrates, phosphates, sulphates and chlorides, and a urease inhibitor of the type phosphoric triamide, and a magnesium sulphate, wherein the urea-based blend composition is further characterized in that it comprises an alkaline or alkaline-forming compound, selected from the group of calcium oxide, zinc oxide, magnesium oxide, calcium carbonate, and mixtures thereof. The composition according to the invention has improved properties for reducing ammonia loss by urease activity in the soil and is in particular suitable as a fertilizer. The invention further relates to a method for the manufacture of said urea-based blend composition, as well as to a composition of kit of parts comprising an amount of a) magnesium sulphate; b) a urease inhibitor of the type phosphoric triamide, preferably N-(n-butyl) thiophosphoric triamide (nBTPT); c) an alkaline or alkaline-forming compound, selected from the group of calcium oxide, zinc oxide, magnesium oxide, calcium carbonate, and mixtures thereof, and d) optionally, one or more anti-caking and/or moisture-repellent and/or anti-dust compounds.

Urea fertilizer compositions comprising rice hulls and methods of use
Compositions comprising urea containing fertilizer (e.g., urea fertilizers or urea formaldehyde reaction product fertilizers such as urea-formaldehyde fertilizer or methylene urea fertilizers) and rice hulls, as well as methods of making and using such compositions are provided.
Anticaking compositions for solid fertilizers, comprising quaternary ester ammonium compounds
Anticaking compositions for solid fertilizers comprising quaternary ester ammonium compounds, the use thereof, methods of preparing solid fertilizers resistant to caking and solid fertilizers obtained thereby.
ANTI-CAKING AGENT FOR SOIL
An anti-caking agent for soil includes, as effective ingredients: a lignin having a molecular weight peak, as measured by GPC molecular weight analysis using a UV detector at a wavelength of 254 nm, within the molecular weight range of 10,000 to 40,000; and a diatomaceous earth. A method of improving the growth of a plant uses the above described anti-caking agent for soil. The anti-caking agent for soil has the effect of reducing the caking of soil and improving the poor growth of a plant.

Urea-containing fertilizers and process for production thereof
A particulate, urea-containing composition and use of an additive for producing a particulate, urea-containing composition and methods of producing a particulate, urea-containing composition.
HYDROPHOBIC COATINGS TO IMPROVE THE PHYSICAL QUALITY PARAMETERS OF FERTILIZERS
A fertilizer composition including a base fertilizer granule with a hydrophobic or super-hydrophobic coating that reduces fertilizer caking and dust formation. The coating can include a roughening component, which creates micron-scale surface roughness, and a hydrophobic coating. Together, the components of the coating act to physically protect water soluble fertilizers granules from the ingress of moisture and from caking, and increase the resistance of the granules to abrasion.
