The present disclosure describes agrochemical water-in-water immiscible solvent (e.g., water-in-oil) emulsion formulations that include one or more agrochemical active agent(s), a continuous water immiscible phase, and a discontinuous aqueous phase containing a sulfopolymer substantially homogenously incorporated in the water immiscible phase. The present disclosure also describes methods of making and using such emulsion formulations in agriculture.
