Agricultural compositions containing structured surfactant systems

Agricultural compositions that employ structured surfactant systems to suspend water-insoluble or sparingly soluble agricultural actives and/or adjuvants are disclosed. Also disclosed are agricultural compositions that combine structured surfactant systems with electrolytes to form structured electrolyte compositions. The structured surfactant systems, both with and without electrolyte, suspend one or more agricultural actives and/or crop oil and non-aqueous adjuvants to provide agricultural compositions that can combine combinations of actives in a single, stable composition.

Process for the production of micronized sulfur

The present document describes a method of producing sulfur particles by injecting an unbroken stream of molten sulfur under a pulsation free pressure, from a distance, into tempered water moving at a velocity, to produce a physical reaction of said molten sulfur with said tempered water to produce sulfur particles. Also described are sulfur particles produced by the process and methods of using the same for fertilizing soil.

Controlled-release fertilizer compositions

A controlled-release fertilizer composition includes coated fertilizer particles having granules substantially encapsulated with a polyurethane coating layer formed from a polyol composition and an isocyanate curing agent. The polyurethane coating layers include inorganic particles. Methods of making and using the controlled-release fertilizer compositions are also disclosed.
