A first footwear comprises a first strap and a first fastener. The first strap comprises a first connector affixing the first strap to a foot side of the first footwear; and a first fastener disposed to the first strap. The second fastener is affixed to the first footwear. The first footwear and a second footwear are configured such that: the first footwear and the second footwear can fold together with the first footwear on the outside; and the first strap is repositionable to connect the first fastener to the second fastener.

A device for holding backless footwear on a person's foot includes an elongated seamless elastic strap, the strap extending in a longitudinal direction from a first end to a second end. First and second attachment mechanisms are disposed on the first and second ends of the strap, respectively. The strap can be attached to backless footwear having first and second portions on respective first and second lateral sides thereof by folding the first end of the strap around the first portion of the footwear and securing the first end to the strap between the first and second ends thereof by way of the first attachment mechanism, and by folding the second end of the strap around the second portion of the footwear and securing the second end to the strap between the first and second ends thereof by way of the second attachment mechanism.

This flip flop accessory holds a flip flop more securely to the foot when the wearer wants to run, jump, walk backwards, or dangle their feetactivities where flip flops often dislodge. It is comprised of two anchoring points screws on either side of the sole and an elastic cord that attaches to the screws and wraps around the ankle. The wearer screws anchoring screws into the sides of the sole, wraps the cord around the ankle looping the ends around the anchor screws, and then adjusts the length of the cord to maximize comfort and functionality.

Articles of footwear 1, and methods of manufacturing articles of footwear are disclosed. The footwear 1 comprises a heel portion 4 for supporting a heel of a foot 10 of a wearer. The heel portion 4 defines a channel 20 extending from a first opening 21 to a second opening 22. The openings 21, 22 are situated at laterally-facing surfaces 41, 42 of the heel portion 4. The footwear 1 may also comprises a fastening means 5 for fastening the article of footwear 1 to the foot 10 of the wearer. The fastening means 5 is arranged to extend through said channel 20 and, in use of the footwear 1, is fastenable around the dorsal region of the foot 10 of the wearer.

A huarache sport sandal with a unique strap systems is described. The sandal strap includes a G-hook and G-Hook strap system to facilitate the comfortable adjustment of the sandal on a foot. Additional adjustments in the strap systems include a ladder buckle and a hook and loop adjustment system. The strap system is attached to a hard rubber sole to keep the sole comfortable connected to the foot during sports activities.

A footwear securing device is provided. The device includes a front strap, a mid strap, a rear strap, an ankle strap, a connector strap, and a base plate; the base plate configured to attach to a sole of a shoe and comprising a front portion, a mid portion, and a rear portion, the front portion comprising a front slot, the mid portion comprising a mid slot, and the rear portion comprising a rear slot; and the front strap configured to enter the front slot, the mid strap configured to enter the mid slot, and the rear strap configured to enter the rear slot.

Wrapped footwear includes a flip-flop which is wrapped in various ways with a strap. In one embodiment the strap is wrapped around both side members of the flip-flop. In another embodiment the strap is wrapped around the toe post and the side members of the flip-flop. And in another embodiment, multiple straps are wrapped around the toe post and the ankle of the wearer.

A customizable combination shoe and accessory include: (a) a wearable mule or slide type shoe having: (i) a sole portion having an insole and an outsole, (ii) a vamp arranged at the insole, (iii) a heel affixed to the outsole, and (iv) a single anchor extending through the outsole; and (b) an accessory harness having: (i) a portion defining an opening, the opening being configured to engage the single anchor to removably secure the portion of the harness to the anchor at the outsole, and (ii) support portions, extending from the portion defining the opening, configured to engage portions of the foot of a wearer of the combination shoe and accessory to provide support to the engaged portions of the foot of the wearer.

A sandal with a magnetically connected upper straps uses a sandal sole, multiple strap-attachment coupler, and a removable upper to enable a user to modify the sandal's appearance. The strap-attachment couplers are fasteners which are used to attach the removable upper to the multilayered sole. To accomplish this the strap-attachment couplers includes a connector-receiving receptacle and an upper-fastening mechanism. The removable upper includes multiple strap segments, each of which is connected to a connector insert. Inserting the connector insert into the connector-receiving receptacle enables the upper-fastening mechanism to become coupled to the connector inserts, thus tethering the removable upper to the sandal sole. Additionally, the strap-attachment couplers are distributed across the insole, such that the strap-attachment couplers enable the user to create a desired type of sandal.

A shoe that grows comprises a sole having a toe, medial side, lateral side, and heel. The toe of the sole extends outwardly to form a toe cap. A vamp member is adjustably connected to a free end of the toe cap. At least one medial strap connects the vamp member to the medial side of the sole. At least one lateral strap connects the vamp member to the lateral side of the sole. An adjustable heel strap connects to the medial and lateral sides of the sole and extends around the heel of the sole.
