The variable shoe anchoring system includes a shoe platform having a variety of anchoring surfaces for securing unlimited combinations of fashion/style accessories having inter-engaging, corresponding anchoring surfaces which adhere the fashion/style accessories securely to the shoe in order to change the overall style and fashion of the shoe.

A flip-flop sandal includes a colored sole, and first and second straps that transition laterally away from a thong secured to the front of the sole. Rubber bands of different colors, thicknesses, outer diameters, and/or textures are received over the stop members at the distal ends of the straps, and onto the straps to customize its appearance. A special tool may be releasably coupled to the stop member and be used to easily slide the rubber bands over the stop members. The straps may have recesses transverse to its length, formed about an entire periphery of the strap, with rubber hands each configured to fit within one of the recesses. The rubber bands, straps, and/or portions of the sole may be formed of a material configured to absorb photons when present, and thereafter glow the various different colors when in the dark. Alternative manufacturing methods for flip flops is also provided.

SHOE WITH DETACHABLE UPPER

Apparatuses, systems and methods associated with a sandal with detachable upper are disclosed herein. In embodiments, a method of securing a strap assembly to a sole of a shoe may include threading a first anchor of the strap assembly through an aperture of the sole and threading a second anchor of the strap assembly through the aperture. The method may further include positioning a post of the strap assembly adjacent to the aperture at the first side of the sole, wherein a shape of the post prevents the post from passing through the aperture, securing the first anchor within a first recess located within the sole; and securing the second anchor within a second recess located within the sole. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

The present invention is a shoe/sandal system with interchangeable reversible decorative straps and ornaments enabling the upper aesthetic appearance to be changed on a plurality of heel styles. The reversible decorative straps and their attachment devices comprised of a rectangular hook and an elastic band of the same width go over the over the top of permanently affixed straps to ensure a consistent fit and protection to the soft tissues of the foot from hard or abrasive binding surfaces of interchangeable decorative materials and attachment devices. Because there are at least two permanently affixed straps on each shoe/sandal and the interchangeable straps are reversible, this system provides a wearer with a wide variety of customizable color, pattern, texture, and design mix-and-match options in changing the aesthetic appearance shoe/sandal.

The present invention relates to an interchangeable footwear device. The device may include a flip-flop sandal design wherein the device may include interchangeable structural features to allow a user to change features as associated with a particular terrain. The interchangeable footwear device includes a gripping system to traverse a number of different terrains. The footwear may include a sole member having a thong member attached to a top of the sole and a heel strap selectively attached to the sole. The heel strap may be selectively attached to the sole with a fastener that may be manually adjusted in a secured or unsecured position to remove the heel strap from the sole. In particular, the interchangeable footwear device may include a gripping unit selectively attached to the sole member of the footwear. The gripping unit may include a toe grip pad and a heel grip pad.

A sandal having a detachable strap fastening, comprising a sole, at least one strap and at least one cam buckle and/or at least one anchor buckle. The sandal is modularly constructed and can be easily assembled and disassembled. The sole and the at least one strap are connected to each other by guiding the at least one strap through apertures provided in the sole. The two ends of the at least one strap are either fastened to the strap again by means of at least one of the cam buckles so as to form a loop or are anchored to one of the apertures by means of at least one of the anchor buckles, wherein the fastening of at least one cam buckle and/or the at least one anchor buckle is effective by friction-locking and they can be opened manually after closing and can be detached from the strap.
