The interchangeable footwear device includes a gripping system to traverse a number of different terrains. The footwear may include a sole member having a thong member attached to a top of the sole and a heel strap selectively attached to the sole. The heel strap may be selectively attached to the sole with a fastener that may be manually adjusted in a secured or unsecured position to remove the heel strap from the sole. In particular, the interchangeable footwear device may include a gripping unit selectively attached to the sole member of the footwear. The gripping unit may include a toe grip pad and a heel grip pad.

A modular sandal. The modular sandal includes a sole having an upper side and a lower side. Slots disposed on the lower side include an interior wall and a width. Channels extending from the lower side of the sole through the upper side of the sole include a diameter. Each of the channels is positioned within one of the slots. A strap including locking tabs is pivotally affixed to the sole. Each locking tab is configured to pivot between a locked position and an unlocked position. Each locking tab is configured to pass through each channel when in an unlocked position. Each locking tab frictionally engages the interior wall of each slot when in a locked position, thereby anchoring the strap to the sole.

A golf sandal for providing comfort, stability, and superior traction. More specifically, a golf sandal having an outsole and midsole made of polyurethane, a gap between the outsole and the midsole, a strap having a central portion located in the gap between the outsole and midsole and ends that secure to each other, and a plurality of soft spikes on the bottom of the outsole, wherein each soft spike is the shape of a webbed foot. The soft spikes enable a wearer to have better traction compared to existing golf sandals.

A socket comprises a stabilizing lever, pawl, flexible joint, aperture, and aligning tabs. A plug comprises overhangs and at least one prong further comprising teeth complementary to teeth on a pawl. Utilizing advancement in materials with a layering design to implant a fastening device, manufacturing may be consistent and more economical and also reduce cost and inconveniences for fashion consumers in several ways.

A novel footwear construction for sandals including a foot bed, an outsole unit and an adjustable continuous strap for retaining the sandal on a foot. This sandal construction includes an adjustable continuous strap that passes below the user's foot and foot bed and secures the users foot to the top of the foot bed. A reinforcement layer is attached to the bottom of the foot bed, which is then adhered to the outsole unit. Voids forming channels in the top side of the outsole unit allow the passage of the strap below a user's foot. The continuous strap comprises the entirety, or part, of the total sandal strapping system when combined with fixed portions of strapping. This construction can be used to construct flat, low, medium or high heel sandals. Further, this construction method allows for single point adjustability at the buckle.
