The shoe assembly may also be a ballet shoe, loafer, or similar design, where removably uppers are not needed, and the shoe thus only has a removable heel band.
Strap systems for articles of footwear and other foot-receiving devices
Strap systems for securing feet into articles of footwear or other foot-receiving devices include one or more strap members formed or engaged together in a continuous path along an upper for an article of footwear or other foot-receiving device. One or more structures for applying a force to the strap member(s) is provided so as to shorten a length of the continuous path and thereby apply tension to the strap member(s). Such strap systems can be arranged so that the strap tightens during plantar flexion or dorsiflexion. Additional aspects of this invention relate to bootie members for supporting such strap systems, upper members or bootie members including such strap systems, and articles of footwear and other foot-receiving devices including such strap systems.
Adjustable clog style footwear
An adjustable clog with a unique strap system is described. The sole assembly for the clog has an interior sole wing situated near the heel of the sole assembly, and an exterior sole wing on the opposite side of the sole assembly from the interior sole wing, near the heel of the sole assembly, wherein the interior sole wing and the exterior sole wing consist of webbing strap and rubber that extend above the sole assembly. The clog also includes an upper, where the upper is affixed to the sole assembly. A wing hook strap is affixed to the interior sole wing on the first end of the wing hook strap and to the paracord loop on the second end of the wing hook strap, wherein the wing hook strap includes a first G-hook that hooks into one of the first plurality of hook pockets. A heel strap connected to the interior sole wing on the first end of the heel strap and the exterior sole wing on the second end of the heel strap through the mechanical ring, said heel strap includes a second G-hook that hooks into one of the second plurality of hook pockets.
Footwear strap and footwear having the same
Embodiments of the present application provide a footwear strap and a footwear having the same. Among others, the footwear strap comprises a strap element and a rigid heel structural element; wherein the rigid heel structural element is disposed inside the strap element, and the rigid heel structural element comprises an upper rear portion; when the footwear strap is assembled to a footwear, the upper rear portion extends in a direction from the position where the footwear contacts the heel toward the position where the footwear contacts the toe, and inclines downward of the footwear; the upper rear portion has a convex curvature which is adapted to the shape of the heel so as to facilitate easily receiving the heel; when the footwear strap is assembled to the footwear, an inner lower portion of the convex curvature faces an opening of the footwear.
Convertible shoe device
Methods for converting a shoe from the flip-flop configuration to a sandal configuration are described herein. The method also includes connecting at least three foot fastener connectors to a first sole connector, a second sole connector, and a third sole connector of the at least three sole connectors, wherein said connecting causes the at least three foot fastener connectors to form a toe thong in a flip-flop configuration. The method further includes sliding the first sole connector along a first slide path from a first flip-flop position to a first sandal position, sliding the second sole connector along a second slide path from a second flip-flop position to a second sandal position, and sliding the third sole connector along a third slide path from a third flip-flop position to a third sandal position.
Adjustable heel strap system
