A sport sandal having a sole and a securement mechanism coupled to the sole. The securement mechanism has a brace, which couples a plurality of toe posts to a plurality of lateral supports. The securement mechanism also has a heel leash coupled to the plurality of lateral supports. The sport sandal provides a user with improved forefront control, improved lateral side traction on the user's toes, improved comfort, and a reduction of forward pressure on the user's toes.

A footwear article is provided herein. The footwear article may include a sole coupled to a cord structure. The cord structure may include interconnected bights in a vamp cord and a rand cord forming a loop line extending along at least a portion of the footwear article.

An article of footwear comprises a sole, and an upper that has a medial side portion extending from the medial side of the sole with a first distal end remote from the medial side. The upper has a lateral side portion extending from the lateral side of the sole with a second distal end remote from the lateral side. A huarache sport sandal with a unique strap systems is described. The sandal strap includes a G-hook and G-Hook strap system to facilitate the comfortable adjustment of the sandal on a foot. Additional adjustments in the strap systems include a ladder buckle and a hook and loop adjustment system. An adjustable clog with a unique strap system is described. The present invention provides footwear capable of changing between a flip-flop and a sandal. The structure of a flip-flop which includes a sole having a top section, a bottom section, a forefoot section, a heel section, and a sidewall section. Also, a forefoot cover having V-shaped straps is positioned and extends over at least a part of the forefoot section and is attached to the top section of the sole. A horizontal recess is formed in the heel section of the sole for receiving therein a horizontal strap, which is removably placed in the horizontal recess. The horizontal strap is moveable by the user between a first stored position in the recess, and a second in-use raised position, wherein the horizontal strap extends above the horizontal recess and covers the bridge of the user's foot in order to convert the flip-flop to a sandal for securing the foot more securely.
