High-heeled shoe with thickening cushion
A high-heeled shoe includes a heel component which significantly elevates a rear portion of the shoe, a sole having a layer of material disposed above the heel component, and an upper extending above the sole. The top surface of the layer of material is inclined upwardly from the front or middle portion of the shoe to the rear of the shoe. The layer of material increases in thickness at the rear portion of the shoe, providing substantially more cushioning at such rear portion.
Minimalist barefoot shoes for correcting flatfeet
A pair of minimalist barefoot shoes has two shoe units. Each shoe unit has a shoe member, a medial arch pulling member, and a pressing member. The shoe member has a shoe body, a toe member, and a sole. The shoe body has a medial arch segment, an instep lateral segment, a receiving space, an opening, and an attachment layer. The medial arch pulling member is mounted on the shoe member and has a pulling segment and a connection layer. The pressing member is mounted on the shoe body and has a pressing segment and a combination layer. The pressing segment is attached securely to the shoe body, extends around an medial arch segment of the shoe body, and covers the first end of the medial arch pulling member.
ADJUSTABLE SANDAL CONSTRUCTION
A sandal construction including a sole assembly, an adjustable strap system, and an ankle post extending up from and affixed to the sole in the ankle region. The ankle post includes three slots arranged in a generally triangular configuration. The strap system includes a strap, a portion of which is threaded through the slots in the ankle post and extending behind the heel of a wearer's foot and from the ankle region into the forefoot region. The strap is folded as it passes between two slots to control the orientation of the strap portions and to allow deliberate adjustment of the strap, but resist unintentional movement of the strap. The strap is selectively moveable through the slots to loosen and tighten the strap through both the ankle and forefoot regions to adjust the fit of the sandal to the wearer's foot.
Convertible Flip-Flop To Sandal
A convertible footwear device includes a sole having opposed toe and heel ends. The footwear device includes a Y-shaped strap assembly having a first strap portion and a second strap portion that are joined together at a post strap portion proximate the toe end. A heel strap assembly including a heel strap having a first end rotatably coupled to the first end of the first strap portion of the Y-shaped strap assembly and a second end rotatably coupled to the first end of the second strap portion of the Y-shaped strap assembly, wherein the heel strap is pivotally movable between a forward configuration in which the heel strap is positioned atop the first and second strap portions a rearward configuration rearwardly displaced from the post assembly for use as a sandal heel strap.
Fastening device for footwear
A shoe fastening system designed to engage the eyelet holes of a shoe, comprising, an anchor, wherein the anchor has a first end and a second end, wherein the first end has means to detachably engage with an eyelet of a shoe and the second end has a connection means, an attachment member having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is designed to securely fit within the connection means of the anchor and the second has a closed loop, a strap, wherein the strap is sized to fit through the closed loop of the attachment member and is a predetermined length and width, and a locking mechanism fitted to receive the strap and engage the strap to keep the strap at a specific length.
ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR HAVING AN UPPER WITH SEPARATELY SECURING MEDIAL AND LATERAL SIDE PORTIONS
An article of footwear comprises a sole, and an upper that has a medial side portion extending from the medial side of the sole with a first distal end remote from the medial side. The upper has a lateral side portion extending from the lateral side of the sole with a second distal end remote from the lateral side. The upper may include a support member extending at least partially across the foot-receiving surface with a first end remote from the medial side. The medial and lateral side portions wrap at least partially around a foot with the first distal end securable proximal to the lateral side, and the second distal end separately securable proximal to the medial side. An article of footwear has cables with proximal ends fixed to one side of the upper and that extend through looped cables on an opposite side of the upper.
THERAPEUTIC FOOTWEAR
The present invention generally relates to therapeutic footwear such as sandals, conventional shoes, and corrective inserts that may be inserted into conventional shoes. Specifically, the therapeutic footwear may be used for maintaining, correcting, or repositioning the great toe to decrease pressure on the first metatarsal-phalangeal joint or bunion. Additional therapeutic features may include spreading of the wearer's toes, supporting the wearer's arch to control excessive pronation, and providing sustained heel cord stretch at rest, during ambulation, pedicure, and before, during, or after medical treatment.
SHOE WITH IMPROVED STRAP ASSEMBLY
A sandal including a footbed, a toe securing strap operably coupled to the footbed, an ankle strap operably coupled to the footbed at an ankle attachment location and at a yoke attachment location, and a main strap operably coupled to the footbed at a main attachment location and at the yoke attachment location, where the main attachment location and the yoke attachment location are aligned along a single edge of the footbed.
Shoe or sandal with interchangeable straps and ornaments
The present invention is a shoe/sandal system with interchangeable reversible decorative straps and ornaments enabling the upper aesthetic appearance to be changed on a plurality of heel styles. The reversible decorative straps and their attachment devices comprised of a rectangular hook and an elastic band of the same width go over the over the top of permanently affixed straps to ensure a consistent fit and protection to the soft tissues of the foot from hard or abrasive binding surfaces of interchangeable decorative materials and attachment devices. Because there are at least two permanently affixed straps on each shoe/sandal and the interchangeable straps are reversible, this system provides a wearer with a wide variety of customizable color, pattern, texture, and design mix-and-match options in changing the aesthetic appearance shoe/sandal.
