Explosives mimic for testing, training, and monitoring
Additive Manufacturing (AM) is used to make mimics for explosives. The process uses mixtures of explosives and matrices commonly used in AM. The explosives are formulated into a mixture with the matrix and printed using AM techniques and equipment. The explosive concentrations are kept less than 10% by wt. of the mixture to conform to requirements of shipping and handling.

Perchlorate-free red pyrotechnic illuminant compositions
The present invention is a red-light-emitting composition based upon a potassium periodate oxidizer formulation, which is useful as the illuminant in the US military's M662 40 mm red star parachute projectile, and which composition is composed of readily commercially available ingredientsingredients that are environmentally friendly. Further, the subject inventive potassium periodate formulation provides significant enhanced illumination and safety versus the current military M662 illuminant which is based upon potassium perchlorate oxidizer formulation.
THERMITE BLOCK FOR STORED-DATA DESTRUCTION
The invention is a multi-layer thermite block, encased in an exterior protective shield with one face exposed. The exposed face is carved out to accommodate a target device such that the block encompasses the target device when placed atop the device. When receiving a data-destruction signal, the block is ignited producing a short-duration blast of heat sufficient to severely damage or destroy all physical data-storing facilities of the target device.

Gas generator
A gas generator is provided, the gas generator having a propellant cushion that prevents movement of propellant tablets or grains by providing a bias thereagainst. Furthermore, the cushion is formed from an auto-igniting material thereby functioning not only as a cushion, but also as an enhanced auto-ignition charge.
