Footwear with heel contact member
A footwear device is provided having a deformable heel contact member. The heel contact member extends above a top portion of the footwear's sole and deforms into a cavity formed in the sole when the user's heel applies a force against the heel contact member. The heel contact member is resilient and returns to its original shape when the force against the heel contact member is eliminated. The heel contact member is particularly well suited to reduce heel slap of open heeled footwear.
SHOE, SOLE, AND INSOLE WITH FOAM EXTENDING THROUGH INSOLE BOARD

Item of footwear
An item of footwear for increasing leg-muscle and/or lower-abdominal-/back-muscle tone comprising: a securing means for securing the item of footwear to a foot of a user; and a sole comprising at least an upper layer, for engaging a foot of a user in use or a further upper layer, and a lower layer, for engaging the ground in use, wherein the upper layer comprises two or more materials of different compressive resistances, or densities, arranged as a frontal/toe region, an arch region and a heel region, the sole is arranged such that application of a user's weight, during use, causes instability in at least one portion of the upper layer, which requires balance correction by a user.
Item of footwear
The invention relates to a sole for an item of footwear, and an item of footwear comprising the sole. The item of footwear includes a sole having a layer of material defining a frontal/toe region, a mid-foot region and a heel region, wherein the layer has a first major surface for facing the foot of a wearer and a second major surface opposite the first; and a securing means for securing the item of footwear to a foot of a wearer, wherein: the material has the same composition in each of the frontal/toe region, the mid-foot region and the heel region; the frontal/toe region and the mid-foot region have formed therein a plurality of cavities such that the average density of the frontal/toe region and the mid-foot region is less than the heel region.
Y-strap sport sandal
A huarache sport sandal with a unique strap systems is described. The sandal strap includes a G-hook and G-Hook strap system to facilitate the comfortable adjustment of the sandal on a foot. FOOTWEAR
Footwear 1 having a strap 30 comprising a front strap portion 31 interposed between a big toe and an index toe, and a side strap portion 32 put on a top of foot, and a footbed 20 which the strap 30 is attached to and a foot is mounted on. The footbed 20 has a removal portion 20c obtained by removing a site being closer to the outside as seen from a front strap portion 31 while closer to toes as seen from a region which a heel of a user is mounted on. In a state wherein a user wears footwear 1, a removal portion 20c is opposed to a middle toe, a ring toe, a little toe and their base parts, an adductor hallucis transverse head part lying closer to a heel than the base parts do, and an arch-of-foot lateral part in flexor digitorum brevis muscles.
Device for preventing and treating foot and leg ulcers
A device is configured to treat ulcers/chronic wounds. First, and intermediate insoles are constructed from including the semi-compressed felt. A third sole serving as the base of the device is made constructed from including Ethylene Vinyl Acetate EVA. A cavity with beveled edge in the first insole is configured to over-lap the chronic wounds or ulcerations. The cavity channels the drainage or extrude from the ulcerations to the intermediate insole where it is absorbed.
