A disposable overshoe preferably made from a single-ply sheet of waterproof material folded on top of itself to form a double ply-sheet with a fold at the bottom. The toe of the disposable overshoe can be made by fusing the double-ply sheet to itself to form a toe-side connection running from the fold at the bottom to an opening between the double-ply sheets at a top. Likewise, the heel of the disposable overshoe can be made by fusing the double-ply sheet to itself to form a heel-side connection running from the fold at the bottom to the opening at the top.
