Bird-scaring device
The present disclosure relates to a bird-scaring device. The bird-scaring device simulates a predatory bird in flight. The bird-scaring device is comprised of an upper body segment, a lower body segment, a middle body segment with a pair of wings, a positioning element, a positioning element mount and an upper fastening element and a lower fastening element for the slidable positioning of the bird-scaring device. The bird-scaring device may have unexpected and unpredictable motion as it slides between the upper and lower fastening element, sways with the positioning element and pivots on the positioning element mount. The wings may project laterally from the middle segment of the body and also may move in the wind to simulate the natural flying motion of a bird. In this way, the bird-scaring device may generate unpredictable, realistic predator bird motion to dispel pest birds.

The present disclosure relates to a bird-scaring device. The bird-scaring device simulates a predatory bird in flight. A portable bird scare device uses airflow to create random movement of a sock. For example, a portable bird scare device can be constructed from a toolbox, marine fan, waterproof switch, deep-cycle battery, fuse, ripstop nylon tube, plumbing pipe and plumbing pipe connectors. A switch can control power between the fan and a battery protected by the fuse. The fan can drive air from within the toolbox through pipe and connectors to the ripstop nylon tube. By controlling the dimensions of the ripstop nylon tube, the ripstop nylon tube can be made to alternatively rise and collapse. By constructing the bird scare device in this manner, it can be made to fit the needs of an airport for a portable, all day, quiet device that can be placed in fields and within confined spaces (such as under bridges, within window wells, etc.) to scare birds due to the movement.

The invention relates to a method for producing a bird protection device and to a bird protection device. According to the invention, a method for producing a bird protection device is proposed, wherein the bird protection device is made of an at least partially transparent material and contains an optical structure visible to a bird's eye. Here, the method comprises a radiation input, wherein the radiation input is implemented on and/or in the partially transparent material for forming the optical structure. The radiation input is preferably laser radiation. Suitable lasers for the radiation input are, for example, CO2 lasers with a wavelength of 1064 nm, picosecond lasers with a wavelength of 532 nm or nanosecond lasers with a wavelength of 532 nm. In one embodiment of the invention, the bird protection device furthermore comprises an element for increasing the contrast, wherein, for forming the optical structure, the radiation input is implemented on and/or in the element for increasing the contrast.

SYSTEM AND DEVICE TO PREVENT WILDLIFE DAMAGE
A wildlife damage prevention device and system are provided. The wildlife damage prevention system includes a wildlife deterrence unit and one or more sensor devices associated with the wildlife deterrence unit. The wildlife deterrence unit includes an inflatable device and a base unit. The one or more sensor devices are separate from the wildlife deterrence unit and distributed around a geographic region a user intends to protect from wildlife. The one or more sensor devices sense motion, and upon sensing motion, send a signal to a receiver at the base unit. The receiver activates a blower and/or a light also at the base unit. The blower inflates the inflatable device, and the light illuminates the inflatable device.

The wildlife damage prevention system includes a wildlife deterrence unit and one or more sensor devices associated with the wildlife deterrence unit.
