Bird Nest Prevention Device
A bird nest prevention device is provided. The device is comprised of a deformable body that can be placed in openings of an outdoor structure where birds desire to nest. As a result, the device prevents said birds from nesting and also prevents the owner of the structure from constantly monitoring and destroying bird nests.
Systems and methods for avian flock flight path modification using UAVs
Systems and methods for autonomously herding birds in accordance with embodiments of the invention are illustrated. One embodiment includes an autonomous flock herding system, including a bird location sensor, a drone; and a control system, including a processor, and a memory, the memory containing a flock herding application, where the application directs the processor to obtain bird position data from the at least one bird location sensor, where the bird position data describes the location of birds in a flock of birds, determine if the flock of birds will enter a protected zone, generate a set of waypoints using a flock dynamics model, instruct the unmanned aerial vehicle to navigate to at least one waypoint in the set of waypoints such that the flock of birds will, in response to the presence of the unmanned aerial vehicle at the at least one waypoint, change trajectory away from the protected zone.

CONTROLLER, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE STATE OF LIQUID CRYSTAL-BASED SWITCHABLE WINDOWS
A method for controlling the state of two or more liquid crystal-based switchable windows includes in a first step providing correction data which define a relationship between a state signal and an output voltage level. The correction data is provided for each of the switchable windows and the state of the switchable windows may be adjusted according to the state signal between a minimum and maximum level. In a subsequent step, the state signal is provided which defines the desired state of one or more selected switchable windows. In a further step, a required voltage level is determined for setting the desired state based on the state signal and the respective correction data for each of the one or more selected windows. In a subsequent step d), an AC output voltage is generated having the required voltage level for each of the one or more selected windows.
System and Method to Drive Away Geese
A system and method for driving geese away from an area employs predetermined random illuminations of particular wavelength light directed in a fashion that repels geese while avoiding annoying humans. Embodiments include systems associated with golf course pins and other structures and animal decoys that hide undesired aesthetic appearances of prior art industrial lighting elements. Other embodiments employ adjustable/movable mirror elements used in conjunction with systems powered by solar energy panels positioned below the light source, which can be adjusted in terms of direction, shielding, color, duration, wavelength and pulsation, providing a variety of random patterns so as to avoid habituation by geese.

BROKEN WING BIRD EFFIGY
Systems, devices, apparatus and methods for deterring birds and other animals from structures such as but not limited to cell towers, communications towers, buildings and areas to be protected. A broken wing effigy of the species to be deterred is suspended from an upper suspending structure and a lower suspending structure. The effigy body and wing appendage can each be molded or otherwise produced from rubber, plastic, or any other suitable material. Hangers can be attached to structures such as towers, buildings and the like. A C shaped hanger can be used for hanging an effigy which allows for the effigy to be able to move, such as rotate and simulate a live bird. Hanging linkages between the hanger and a molded bird body, can allow for a plurality of rotation movements there between. Wing linkages between the molded bird body and a molded wing can allow for an additional plurality of rotation movements there between.
