ULTRAVIOLET (UV) ABSORBING INKS AND FILMS
Ultraviolet (UV) absorbing inks and films for surfaces such as glass and/or plastic are provided that include patterns visible to avian eyes, but invisible to a human at least ten feet away. Such invention is aimed at reducing the number of window strikes that result in bird deaths. A formulation may include a binder, a carrier. A formulation may include a base configured to dissolve and solubilize the binder such that it can be applied to the carrier. A formulation may include at least one of an ultraviolet (UV)/visible (VIS) absorbing (UAC) component and a UV/VIS reflective (URC) component.
Livestock management
A method of managing livestock includes selecting an area of interest (AOI) from among a plurality of AOIs as a target AOI, defining a route along which livestock is to be guided to the target AOI, guiding the livestock to the target AOI via the defined route using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), identifying a stress condition of the livestock using the UAV, and reducing the stress condition of the livestock using the UAV. Identifying the stress condition includes identifying an animal not belonging to the livestock causing stress in at least one animal belonging to the livestock. Reducing the stress condition includes diverting the identified animal not belonging to the livestock away from the livestock by adjusting the distance of the UAV relative to the identified animal.
Animal repelling device
An animal repelling device may include a first mounting bracket and a second mounting bracket, each of which includes an upper section and a lower section. The upper section may include a vertical tab, a notch formed in the vertical tab, and ribs coupled to opposing sides of the vertical tab. The lower section may include a foot coupled to a sidewall, the sidewall comprising a curved inner surface configured to mateably couple with a fence. A roller may be disposed between, be rotatably coupled to, and extend axially between, the first mounting bracket and the second mounting bracket, the roller comprising an aligner that biases the roller back to an initial at rest position. An attachment clip may be releasably coupled to the notch of the vertical tab.

Animal Deterrent Assembly
An animal deterrent assembly includes a housing that is positionable adjacent an area intended to be free of animals. A balloon is coupled to the housing and the balloon is inflatable present a visual deterrent for an animal. A blower is positioned within the housing to inflate the balloon. A plurality of speakers is each coupled to the housing to present an audible deterrent for the animal. A motion sensor is coupled to the housing and each of the blower and the speakers is turned on when the motion sensor senses motion of the animal. A transceiver is coupled to the housing to communicate an alert to thereby alerting a user that the animal has approached the area.

Motorized two-piece head for owl
A scarecrow includes a scarecrow body corresponding generally in shape to a body of a live animal and an assembled hollow scarecrow head of molded plastic construction corresponding in shape to a head of the live animal. The assembled head includes a front face portion and a separate rear head portion fixed together to form the head, the front face portion having a front receiver and the rear head portion having a rear receiver. The scarecrow includes a motor having a rotatable motor shaft; a mounting insert fixed to the motor with the motor shaft extending below the mounting insert, the mounting insert received by the front receiver and the rear receiver to fix the mounting insert to the head; and a mounting bracket fixed to the scarecrow body and having a motor shaft receiver into which the rotatable motor shaft is received. Rotation of the motor shaft rotates the assembled scarecrow head relative to the scarecrow body.

Intelligent Control System for Deterring Problem Animals
A self-contained, weatherproof control system containing logic that when connected to a video camera and loudspeaker, is a method for selective deterrence of problem individuals or populations of specific species of wildlife. Control system uses circuitry that interacts with video capture technology and extracts frames of video, then processed by object recognition software, powered by artificial intelligence and machine learning, which provides the ability to disregard any wildlife not considered nuisance and recognize and deter those animals that are considered a pest or a nuisance by way of a pre-configured action.
