A shoe including an upper, a sole including slots formed in a bottom of the sole, and retention overlay. The sole is removably attached to the shoe upper via the retention overlay, which is provided within the slots formed in the bottom of the sole.

Present aspects are directed to a braided upper comprising a tubular braided structure, which comprises an internal cavity and a plurality of apertures. The yarn of the tubular braided structure surrounds a perimeter of each of the plurality of apertures. The braided upper comprises a midsole positioned within the internal cavity and comprising a plurality of braid-receiving features mated with the yarn of the tubular braided structure. The braided upper and the midsole are keyed to one another when the yarn is mated with the plurality of braid-receiving features.

A shoe having one or more detachable and/or interchangeable outsoles is provided herein. The shoe may include a sole, a rear outsole (e.g., a stiletto, a wedge, etc.), and a forward outsole (e.g., a platform, etc.). The sole may be generally configured to support a wearer's foot, with the rear outsole being detachably coupled to a rear portion of the sole and the forward outsole being detachably coupled to a forward portion of the sole. By having two detachable outsoles (e.g., a detachable rear outsole and a detachable forward outsole), the shape, style, and design of the shoe can be varied/changed.

An article of footwear comprises a sole structure, and an upper including a front section and a rear section. The front section is fixed to a forefoot region of the sole structure and partially defines a foot-receiving cavity. The rear section is operatively secured to the sole structure at least partially rearward of the front section, and includes medial and lateral wings. A medial set of magnets includes at least one front medial magnet secured to a medial side of the front section and at least one rear medial magnet secured to the medial wing. The present invention relates to a modular shoe (1700) in particular a sports shoe, with a sock like outer shoe (1750) and a frame (1710). The sock like outer shoe is provided for a releasable arrangement around the frame. The sock like outer shoe may comprise a plurality of profile elements (1765), wherein at least one of the profile elements extends from an outer side of the sock like outer shoe. A region of the at least one of the profile elements may be configured to releasably engage in a formfitting manner with a lower side of the frame of the modular shoe.

An article of footwear includes an upper and a sole structure. The upper includes elongated members extending from a lower peripheral portion that mechanically connect the upper to a sole structure. The sole structure includes several recesses for engaging the elongated members. The upper and/or the elongated members can be printed using a three-dimensional printer.

A modular footwear having individual versatility is provided comprising an insole for primary support and a sole provided thereon. The footwear further comprises a heel provided on the insole having a heel counter provided on an upper periphery of the heel and wherein the insole defines a channel for receiving an attachment means to securely attach the footwear to the individual.
