Provided is a heeling apparatus including an inner shell and an outer shell. The outer shell is configured to interlock with the inner shell. In one embodiment, the inner shell includes a plurality of protrusions configured to interlock with receiving apertures in the outer shell. In one embodiment, the inner shell includes a cavity configured to receive a removable bracket. The bracket includes a mounting assembly configured to receive a wheel assembly. The bracket is held in place by the interlocked relationship of the inner shell and the outer shell.

Articles of footwear 1, and methods of manufacturing articles of footwear are disclosed. The footwear 1 comprises a heel portion 4 for supporting a heel of a foot 10 of a wearer. The heel portion 4 defines a channel 20 extending from a first opening 21 to a second opening 22. The openings 21, 22 are situated at laterally-facing surfaces 41, 42 of the heel portion 4. The footwear 1 may also comprises a fastening means 5 for fastening the article of footwear 1 to the foot 10 of the wearer. The fastening means 5 is arranged to extend through said channel 20 and, in use of the footwear 1, is fastenable around the dorsal region of the foot 10 of the wearer.

A footwear system including a first footwear article configured to accept a user's foot, the first footwear article having a body and a sole attached to the body, the sole having a flange member extending past the body forming a wing, and a second footwear article, the second footwear article comprising a sole having a raised ridge portion and a raised heel portion, the raised ridge portion and the raised heal portion forming a cavity configured to accept the wing of the first footwear article, wherein the second footwear article is configured to be detachably attached to the first footwear article.

The footwear can be convertible between a shoe configuration and a sandal configuration. A flexible front vamp portion can be elevated into an upwardly flexed and elevated position so it creates a cavity, in conjunction with the footwear upper portion, to receive the foot of the wearer to provide a shoe configuration. In particular, the toes of the wearer can reside in the cavity portion formed by the flexible front vamp portion. For conversion to a sandal configuration, the midsole can be removed from the outer sole and the front vamp portion can be downwardly flexed so that it collapses and then nests into the outer sole. The midsole can be replaced back into the outer sole, with the front vamp portion captured between the midsole and the outer sole, so the footwear can function as a sandal with the wearer's toes exposed.

To allow user customisation, this shoe invention provides; 1. Interchangeable components of the shoe as shown in FIG. 1. The Shoe Sole (13) and the Shoe Upper (10). 2. Adjustable Nose Cone device, the raiser (14), as shown in FIG. 6. Provides further customisation allowing the Nose Cone (15) of the Shoe to be adjustable.

The interchangeable Shoe design and adjustable Nose Cone device described in this patent allows users to achieve interchangeability and customisation without eliminating functionality. 1. The interchangeable Shoe design, as shown in FIG. 1. Comprises of the Shoe Sole (13) and the Shoe Upper (10). Both Components are joined together in an independent and interchangeable way by means of two layers of hook and loop material strips affixed to the respective components i.e. the Shoe Sole (13) and the Shoe Upper (10). 2. The adjustable Nose Cone (15) as shown in FIG. 1. comprises of a device called, the raiser (14). FIG. 6. Provides further details and views of the raiser. This device is solely responsible for the Nose Cone (15) adjustment.

A foldable shoe includes a first sole section located under the ball of a wearer's foot including a first outsole portion and a first footbed. The foldable shoe further includes a second sole section located under the heel of a wearer's foot, the second sole section including a second outsole portion and a second footbed. An upper section extends from the first sole section, and a hinge is connected to the first sole section and the second sole section and is configured to fold the foldable shoe from a first position, to be worn, to a second position, for storage. A first magnetic material disposed in the first sole section and a second magnetic material disposed in the second sole section creates a magnetic connection to retain the foldable shoe in first position or second position.

A footwear sole apparatus which has a base member and at least one insert (principal insert and/or heel insert) as well as one or more fail-safe interconnectivity mechanisms, comprised of a configuration to fit or replace the sole or partial sole of a pair or pairs of footwear. The base member is either pre-attached to a new shoe(s) or fitted onto the sole of an existing shoe(s). The base member can be attached to the insert(s), having one or more fail-safe mechanisms to enhance interconnectivity of the base member and insert(s).

The present application discloses a retractable high heel for a shoe comprising a shoe base, a heel and a locking mechanism. The shoe base is coupled to a bottom surface of the shoe. The heel comprises a protrusion. The locking mechanism comprises a guide and a rotating shaft. The protrusion is slidably coupled to the guide. The rotating shaft is coupled to the guide. The protrusion is coupled at one end of the guide when the retractable high heel is at an extended state, wherein the protrusion is coupled at another end of the guide when the retractable high heel is at a retracted state. The shoe with the retractable high heel is also disclosed.

An active suspension orthotic support system is disclosed. The suspension orthotic support system comprises at least one variable resistance beam extending from a heel section to a mid-arch section of the footwear, wherein rotation of the variable resistance beam from a first position to a second position causes a resistance provided by the variable resistance beam to vary between a minimum resistance to a maximum resistance.

A shoe including a base portion having a pair of slots and an upper portion having a pair of cordings configured to be slid into the pair of slots to attach the top portion to the base portion. The upper portion is removable from the base portion by sliding the cording out of the pair of slots so that the upper portion may be replaced with another upper portion.
