Athletic shoe having cleats
An athletic shoe having cleats, includes an upper and an outsole, wherein the outsole has a front portion capable of receiving the front of the foot, a central portion capable of receiving the middle of the foot, and a rear portion capable of receiving the heel. The rear portion of the outsole includes a hollow shell and a heel seat, the heel seat being removably arranged in a recess formed by the hollow shell, and the rear portion has a portion that is thickened relative to the front portion, the thickened portion being adjustable by modifying the thickness of the removable heel seat.
Footwear with removable midsole and outsole
An article of footwear having a removable outsole, midsole, and upper is provided. A portion of the upper may have a perimeter lip that may be coupled to a perimeter channel in an upper surface or side of the outsole. The midsole may be securely placed into the upper to further secure the upper to the outsole. The fit of the outsole, upper, and midsole generates a securely assembled article of footwear ready for user wear. In aspects, the removable outsole, midsole, and upper may be changed to customize the article footwear for the user.
SOLE STRUCTURE WITH PROGRESSIVELY ADAPTIVE STIFFNESS
A sole structure for an article of footwear comprises a sole plate including a foot support portion with a foot-facing surface and a ground-facing surface. An opening extends through the foot support portion from the foot-facing surface to the ground-facing surface. The sole plate includes a bridge portion underlying the opening and secured to the foot support portion fore and aft of the opening. The sole structure includes a piston that has a body and a support arm extending transversely from the body. The body extends through the opening. The support arm is supported on the bridge portion, trapped below the ground-facing surface by the foot support portion, and extends under the ground-facing surface at medial and lateral sides of the opening.
Combination shoe that can be transformed into a shoe with different heel heights
A shoe assembly includes a front sole section, a rear sole section, a heel, and a hinge. The front sole section has a front sole section rear edge. The rear sole section includes a rear sole section front edge, a shank, and a release button. The heel may be removably attached to the shank and may be released from a locked position by the release button. The hinge connects the front sole section and the rear sole section. The hinge is perpendicular to a rear sole section axis.
Removable shoe sole system
A shoe system including a shoe upper with a bottom side having an aperture extending to a cavity. The shoe system also includes a selectively removable outsole which includes a bottom for contacting the ground, and a top for engaging with the bottom of the shoe upper. The top side of the outsole further includes a projection which is sized and shaped to extend through the aperture and into the cavity when the outsole is in a first orientation, which is misaligned with respect to the shoe upper. The projection is also sized and shaped to fit within the cavity but no longer back through the aperture when the outsole is in a second orientation, which is aligned with respect to the shoe upper. In the second orientation, the projection within said cavity prevents disengagement of the outsole from the shoe upper.
ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR HAVING A MODULAR PLATE SYSTEM
An article of footwear that has an upper attached to a sole structure. The sole structure includes a midsole that is positioned between an insole and an outsole. The article of footwear also includes a plate that is removably received within a cavity formed within the midsole. The insole is configured to cover the plate within the cavity. The plate includes a reinforcing member that comprises carbon fiber.
Articles of footwear with adjustable dimensions
This disclosure is directed to articles of footwear with adjustable dimensions. More specifically, the articles of footwear disclosed herein include sole structures with adjustable dimensions. In some instances, an article of footwear includes one or more removable insert members configured for adjusting the dimensions of a foot-receiving cavity of the article of footwear. Additionally or alternatively, a sole structure can include one or more flexible portions that can move between compressed and expanded states to accommodate feet of various dimensions. To accommodate the adjustable dimensions of the sole structures, an upper of the article of footwear can be stretchable.
Selectively height adjustable platform shoe assembly and method of use
A selectively height adjustable platform shoe assembly for increasing perceived height and actual reach of a user includes a pair of articles of footwear, each comprising a sole to which an upper is attached. The upper and the sole define a cavity, into which a respective foot of a user is insertable. A recess extends into a lower face of the sole and from proximate to a first end and second ends of the sole. A plurality of nested rings is attached to the sole and is positioned in the recess. An actuator is attached to the sole, is operationally engaged to the plurality of nested rings, and can selectively extend the nested rings from the recess. A controller is attached to the sole and is operationally engaged to the actuator. The controller is enabled to selectively actuate the actuator to extend the nested rings from the recess.
SOLE STRUCTURES AND ARTICLES OF FOOTWEAR HAVING SEPARATE OUTSOLE AND MIDSOLE COMPONENTS
Articles of footwear in accordance with some aspects of this technology include a simple construction with each component made from a single material and fit together in a releasable manner. The invention enhances the recyclability and sustainable nature of the article of footwear and shoe. At least one specific aspect of this technology relates to footwear structure that may include three main parts: (a) an outer cage, which may include a single piece having features of: (i) a footwear upper and (ii) a sole structure having one or more traction element outer shells; (b) an inner upper component; and (c) a chassis and heel counter component with a bottom surface thereof that includes one or more traction element inserts and supports that fit inside the one or more traction element outer shells. Another more specific aspect of this technology relates to footwear structure that may include two main parts: (a) a foot support component having features of: (i) an upper portion and (ii) a strobel structure attached to the upper portion that includes a bottom surface with a plurality of sole locking inserts; and (b) a sole structure component having features of: (i) an outsole component and (ii) a midsole component located between the outsole component and the strobel structure, the midsole component including a plurality of sole cavities, wherein each of the plurality of sole locking inserts fit inside a corresponding each of the plurality sole cavities.
