Chemical processing utilizing hydrogen containing supplemental fuel for catalyst processing
A method for processing a chemical stream includes contacting a feed stream with a catalyst in a reactor portion of a reactor system that includes a reactor portion and a catalyst processing portion. The catalyst includes platinum, gallium, or both and contacting the feed stream with the catalyst causes a reaction which forms an effluent stream. The method includes separating the effluent stream from the catalyst, passing the catalyst to the catalyst processing portion, and processing the catalyst in the catalyst processing portion. Processing the catalyst includes passing the catalyst to a combustor, combusting a supplemental fuel in the combustor to heat the catalyst, treating the heated catalyst with an oxygen-containing gas to produce a reactivated catalyst, and passing the reactivated catalyst from the catalyst processing portion to the reactor portion. The supplemental fuel may include a molar ratio of hydrogen to other combustible fuels of at least 1:1.
Systems and processes for upgrading natural gas liquids from shale gas
Systems and processes for upgrading natural gas liquids (NGL). A natural gas, preferably a shale gas, comprising methane and one or more natural gas liquids can be converted to one or more liquid hydrocarbons. Methane can be separated from the one or more liquid hydrocarbons using a liquid absorbent to provide a first separated stream comprising the methane from the converted stream and a second separated stream comprising the one or more liquid hydrocarbons from the converted stream. At least a portion of the one or more liquid hydrocarbons can be recycled as the liquid absorbent.

PROCESSES FOR CATALYTIC PARAFFIN DEHYDROGENATION AND CATALYST RECOVERY
A paraffin having 2-8 carbon atoms may be dehydrogenated by contacting the paraffin with metal oxide catalyst(s) to produce light olefins, such as propylene, under certain reaction conditions in a riser, fluidized bed, or fixed-bed swing reactor. The resulting metal oxide catalyst fines contained in the reactor effluent stream formed by the dehydrogenation reaction may be recovered by contacting the reactor effluent stream with a wash fluid to form a catalyst effluent stream that is subsequently slurried and filtered to capture the catalyst fines for potential reuse.
SUPPORTED CORE-SHELL STRUCTURED ZnO CATALYST, AND PREPARATION METHOD AND USE THEREOF
The present invention belongs to the technical field of supported catalysts, and discloses a supported core-shell structured ZnO catalyst, and a preparation method and use thereof. With Al.sub.2O.sub.3 as a support and ZnO as active sites, the catalyst is characteristic of a NiZn@ZnO core-shell structure, which consists of a NiZn alloy core and a ZnO shell The preparation method comprises firstly dissolving Ni(NO.sub.3).sub.3.6H.sub.2O and Zn(NO.sub.3).sub.2.6H.sub.2O in deionized water; then impregnating Al.sub.2O.sub.3 with the solution described above, followed by uniform ultrasonic dispersion and complete drying; and finally the obtained solid is calcinated and reduced to obtain the target catalyst, which exhibits high activity, selectivity and stability. The catalyst can be used for the dehydrogenation of light alkanes to alkenes, especially in dehydrogenation of propane to propylene.
