AGRICULTURAL MACHINE

An agricultural machine, such as a tractor, is disclosed. The agricultural machine includes a driver assistance system, which comprises an input/output unit for specifying an agricultural working task by an operator and for performing the settings relating to an agricultural working task by the operator. The input/output unit displays virtual operating elements, making the settings possible, and the information corresponding to the settings to be made. Further, the input/output unit includes a set-up assistant unit, which allows the operator to set up the driver assistance system using the virtual operating elements. Further, the set-up assistant unit may be configured depending on the working task determined by the operator.

An agricultural machine, such as a tractor, includes a control or regulating system for controlling and regulating a working assembly in order to perform an agricultural work order. The control and regulating system includes at least one control unit with a control program. The control program is configurable and/or loadable as a function of any one, any combination or all of: the agricultural work order; the attachable working assembly; or operator input relating to an agricultural work order.

The input/output unit allows for an interactive setting of at least one parameter of the agricultural machine and/or at least one working unit for implementing or supporting the agricultural working task, with the interactive setting being performed in a symbol-based and/or image-based or guided manner. Further, the at settable parameter, its value, or value range is preselected by the driver assistance system based on the agricultural working task selected, the working unit selected, or added on by the operator.

Four Wheel Steering With Lock Assembly

A lock system can be provided at each rear wheel assembly of a four wheel steering system to physically lock the rear wheel assemblies in a fixed direction to safely prevent rear wheel steering when such feature is undesirable. The lock system can use an electronically controlled actuator to hydraulically drive or retract a lock cylinder to lock or unlock the rear wheel assemblies, respectively. Sensors can be used to detect whether the lock cylinders are driven or retracted by their respective actuators, so that a controller monitoring the sensors can determine whether four wheel steering is enabled or disabled.

Forage harvester swath sensor

A forage harvester including a header for picking up a swath from a ground surface. The header includes a first and a second distance sensor adapted to measure a sensor-to-target distance respectively along a first and second sensor axis. The first distance sensor is mounted at a first lateral end of the header, and the second distance sensor is mounted at a second lateral end of the header. The first and second distance sensors are positioned such that, when the forage harvester is placed on an even ground surface, the first sensor axis crosses the second sensor axis before reaching the even ground surface in front of the harvester.

Circuitry is configured to determine that an early abnormality occurs when the detected signals satisfy a first condition, the work vehicle being in an early stage of trouble in travelling due to the early abnormality. The circuitry is configured to determine that an actual abnormality occurs when the detected signals satisfy a second condition which has a second threshold severer than a first threshold of the first condition, the work vehicle being in trouble in travelling due to the actual abnormality. The circuitry is configured to provides notifications of the early abnormality and the actual abnormality toward an outside of the work vehicle when it is determined that the early abnormality and the actual abnormality occurs, respectively.

The pivotal body includes a first boss portion and a second boss portion. The lever body is also pivotable about a second pivot axis of the second boss portion from a forward traveling end position through a neutral position to a reverse traveling end position. The neutral position detector is responsive to a detected portion provided in an auxiliary member fixed to the lever body, at the neutral end position of the lever body. The detected portion is offset from a pivotal locus of the lever body about the first pivot axis.
