A filter corresponding to a set of expected crop characteristics of the crop row can be obtained. Elements in the image can then be categorized based on applying the filter to the image when the filter anchored on the crop row.

Multi-selectable application mode steering system and method thereof

A steering system for controlling a direction of travel of a work machine includes a steering device controllable by an operator of the work machine. The steering device is coupled to an axle of the work machine for controlling an angular orientation of the wheels. A brake is coupled to the steering device and is controllably applied to apply a first amount of resistance to the steering device. A motor is coupled to the steering device and is controllably activated to apply a second amount of resistance to the steering device. A controller controls the steering system of the work machine in at least a first operating mode and a second operating mode. In the first operating mode, the controller controls the brake between an applied position and an unapplied position, whereas in the second operating mode, the controller controls the motor between an active position and a de-activated position.

TURF AERATOR

An aerator for a turf surface has a traction control, an OPC bail, and an aeration bail capable of single handed operation. A controller automatically lowers a tine head to begin aerating at a start location marked when the aeration bail is closed and lifts the tine head to end aeration at an end location marked when the aeration bail is released. The controller further causes the tines that enter the turf surface at the start location to penetrate to a desired hole depth. The controller also automatically adjusts ground speed to maintain a desired hole spacing during an aeration pass, but permits the operator to speed up during a turnaround between passes with a steerable front wheel freewheeling to mitigate wheel scrubbing. A handle assembly having a spring counterbalance is height adjustable and automatically engages a parking brake when placed in an upright non-operating position.

In order to perform a rear wheel alignment operation, the hydraulic steering circuit is bypassed so that the steering wheel can be used as an input device to steer each of the rear wheels in a steer by wire arrangement for alignment, without steering the front wheels during the alignment process.

FRONT DIFFERENTIAL HYDRAULIC DRIVE SYSTEM FOR SELF-PROPELLED WINDROWER IMPLEMENT

A self-propelled windrower implement includes a drive pump coupled to and powered by a primary power supply. A drive motor is disposed in fluid communication with the drive pump and is operable to convert a fluid flow from the drive pump into a rotational output having a torque and a rotational speed. A drive wheel is drivenly coupled to the drive motor for rotation about a drive axis in response to the rotational output of the drive motor. The drive motor is a variable displacement hydraulic motor that is controllable to adjust a motor displacement to vary at least one of the torque and the rotational speed of the rotational output for the defined flow rate and the defined pressure of the fluid flow from the drive pump.
