A system for physical mobility activity of a person includes at least one fixed support member and at least one contact member to be worn by a person in motion. The support member and the contact member include at least one support surface and at least one contact surface, respectively. The support surface and the contact surface constitute the respective components of a hook-and-loop fastening connection including of hooks and loops, wherein the hooks have hook stems and hook openings. The hook openings on the support surface or contact surface in question are at least substantially all situated at the same side of the hook stems in question, when considered in a first direction parallel to the support surface or contact surface in question.

A customizable traction assembly kit which contains one or more traction devices having a non-sharp surface which are attachable to a bottom of a shoe and removable therefrom such that the one or more traction devices may be arranged in a plurality of configurations depending on the desired use.

A climbing shoe comprising: a shoe-upper which is shaped so as to accommodate and cover substantially the whole foot of the user; a sole made of polymeric material, which is fixed to the bottom of the shoe-upper so as to cover the front part of the bottom of said shoe-upper; a front tensioning band made of elastomeric material, which is substantially U-bent and is fixed to the toe of the shoe-upper so as to embrace/surround the front part of the bottom of the shoe-upper, while joining to the front sole; a rear patch made of soft and flexible material, which is arranged astride of the rear part of the shoe-upper, in the area above the heel portion of the shoe-upper; and a rear tensioning band which is substantially U-bent and is firmly fixed to the shoe-upper so that the central elbow/bend of the rear tensioning band covers the plantar arch portion of the bottom, and the two branches of the rear tensioning band extend obliquely along the two lateral sides of the shoe-upper up to reach and firmly join said rear patch.

A climbing shoe comprising: a shoe-upper shaped so as to accommodate the user's foot; a sole made of a polymeric material, which is attached to the bottom of the shoe-upper so as to cover at least the front part of the bottom of said shoe-upper; and manually-operated closing means that are adapted to tighten the top part of the shoe-upper on the user's foot and include a transversal locking strap that extends like a bridge between the inner side and the outer side of the shoe-upper remaining astride and grazing the top part of the shoe-upper, and is adapted to pull said inner and outer sides of the shoe-upper toward each other; said transversal locking strap comprising: a plate-like head which has, on at least one of the two major faces, a velcro surface structure; and a flexible cord that has a substantially unextendible structure, which has the two ends firmly fixed to the plate-like head, so as to form a large, substantially U-shaped bight.

A climbing shoe comprising: a shoe-upper shaped so as to accommodate and cover substantially the entire foot of the user; a front sole made of polymeric material, which is fixed to the bottom of the shoe-upper so as to cover at least the front part of the bottom of said shoe-upper; and at least a front tensioning band made of elastomeric material, which is substantially U-bent and is fixed to the tip of the shoe-upper so as to surround/enclose the front part of the bottom of the shoe-upper, joining the front sole; the front tensioning band has a ribbon-like monolithic structure and is longitudinally divided into a lower ribbon-like portion which is immediately adjacent/contiguous to the front sole, and into an upper ribbon-like portion which flanks the lower ribbon-like portion while remaining spaced from the edge of the front sole, and which has a hardness lower than that of the lower ribbon-like portion.

A climbing shoe comprising: a shoe-upper shaped so as to completely cover the foot of the user; a sole which is fixed to the bottom of the shoe-upper so as to cover the front part of the bottom; a rear tensioning band made of elastomeric material, which is substantially U-bent and is fixed to the rear part of the shoe-upper so as to cover the area of the shoe-upper immediately above the heel portion of the shoe-upper, and then to extend obliquely along the two lateral sides of the shoe-upper towards the sole; and a substantially ribbon-like sagittal tensioning band made of elastomeric material, which extends longitudinally on the bottom part of the shoe-upper, from the tip of the shoe-upper up to the rear tensioning band crossing, in succession, the bottom and the heel portion of the shoe-upper while remaining underneath the sole, and which is firmly fixed to the shoe-upper substantially along its entire length.

Disclosed is a footwear device for moving around on walls made of perforated plates, having an innerboot secured to a sole made of flexible plastics material, extending along a longitudinal axis from a heel to a tip, the sole having a semi-rigid plate, known as a core, embedded in the thickness of the sole. The core is designed to receive one or more rigid fingers that are able to pass into a hole in the wall made of perforated plates, the finger extending along the longitudinal axis and protruding from the front of the sole.

An article of footwear for climbing is disclosed. The article of footwear includes a sole structure including at least an outsole and having a concave shape; and an upper secured to the sole structure. The upper includes a textile including an active region and a secure region, the active region being between a lateral side of the upper and a medial side of the upper at least in an area of the upper at a toe side of an area corresponding to a ball of a foot disposed in the article of footwear. The article of footwear provides for stretchibility in the active region and support in the secure region.
