UPPER FOR ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR
An upper for an article of footwear includes a carcass layer including an interior liner defining an interior void of the upper and an exterior liner joined to the interior liner to define a plurality of resilient pads protruding from an exterior surface of the upper. In some examples, the upper includes an outer shell attached to the exterior liner of the carcass layer and including a plurality of openings each configured to receive a respective one of the resilient pads therethrough. Here, each of the resilient pads includes a distal end surface defining a first portion of a ball control surface and the outer shell defines a second portion of the ball control surface. In some implementations, each of the resilient pads includes a compressible material enclosed between the interior liner and the exterior liner. Optionally, each of the resilient pads includes a tensile element disposed therein.
Shoe
Described is a shoe, in particular an athletic shoe. The shoe can include a sole and a shoe upper. The shoe upper can include (a.) a lateral portion; (b.) a medial portion; and (c.) intermediate portion between the lateral portion and the medial portion. The intermediate portion can include a cupped portion uncoated by a first coating portion on the lateral portion and a second coating portion on the medial portion. When the shoe upper is separate from the sole at least a majority of the cupped portion may be cupped above surrounding areas of the shoe upper.
ARTICLE HAVING A KNITTED COMPONENT WITH A STRAP
In one aspect, the present disclosure provides an article formed of a knitted component. The article may be an upper for an article of footwear. The knitted component may have a first portion and a second portion, where the first portion of the knitted component at least partially forms a foot-receiving portion of the upper, where the second portion of the knitted component at least partially forms a strap of the upper, where the strap includes a first edge and a second edge secured to the first portion of the knitted component, and where the strap includes a third edge that extends from the first edge to the second edge.
SHOE UPPER COMPRISING PROTRUSIONS
An upper for a sports shoe includes a plurality of areas. The areas include a medial area, a lateral area, a toe area, an instep area, a heel area, and a collar area. The upper includes at least one protrusion in at least four of the plurality of areas. The protrusions protrude from an outer surface of the upper.
Material for shoe upper
Described are materials for a shoe upper, in particular for soccer shoes, with a particularly low weight. The material includes an inner polyurethane layer, an outer polyurethane layer, and a textile reinforcing layer. The textile reinforcing layer is arranged between the inner polyurethane layer and the outer polyurethane layer. The inner polyurethane layer and the outer polyurethane layer comprise thermoset polyurethane. The textile reinforcing layer comprises apertures through which the inner polyurethane layer and the outer polyurethane layer are connected to each other.
LAST FOR AN ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR
A last for forming an upper of an article of footwear includes a first portion including a lateral side and a medial side that opposes the lateral side, and a second portion connected with and extending upward and transversely outward in an angled manner away from the first portion such that a terminal end of the second portion is distanced from the first portion. An exterior surface of the last can include a plurality of three dimensional structural surface components disposed over at least 50% of the exterior surface of the last.
UPPER FOR AN ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR HAVING AN INNER COMPONENT AND A SHROUD
An upper for an article of footwear may include a medial side, a lateral side, and a throat area between the medial side and the lateral side. An inner component may form an inner surface of the upper, where the inner component includes an inner throat region in the throat area, where a tensile strand of the inner component forms a loop in the inner throat region, and where the loop includes an opening for receiving a fastening element. An outer shroud may form the outer surface of the upper, where the outer shroud at least partially covers the inner throat region of the inner component such that the loop is located in a pocket formed between the inner component and the outer shroud.
Sports shoe with a pattern facilitating ball handling
Sports shoe with a pattern facilitating ball handling, wherein the surface of the upper of the sports shoe is divided into a plurality of shooting zones, and at least one of said shooting zones comprises a plurality of parts that extend out from the basic surface (21) of the upper and having elevated outer surfaces (22) that have increased grip to the ball, and these parts are spaced from each other and designed as directing isles (20) that have elongated shapes resembling to a rhombus or an almond shape and each has a longitudinal central axis (27) at the end of which respective apexes (25, 26) are formed that have angles smaller than 45°, each directing isle (20) has a transverse axis (28) extending where the isle has the highest width, and said apexes (25, 26) are connected with the ends of the transverse axis (28) by respective sides (a1, a2 and b1, b2) of the directing isle (20), the oppositely located sides (a1, a2 and b1, b2) are either straight or being slightly curved but their main directions are either parallel or close only a small angle, and the neighbouring directing isles (20) are arranged so that they are shifted from each other along the direction of their central axes (27) and between corresponding sides (a1 and a2) of a directing isle and the similarly directed sides (b1, b2) of a neighbouring directing isle directing channels (A and B) are formed that have directions closing with each other an acute angle, and the width of the channels is between 4 and 15 mm and the height of the directing isles (20) from the basic surface (21) is between 0.4 and 3 mm.
