System and method for managing an insect swarm using drones
This disclosure relates to system and method for managing an insect swarm using a plurality of drones. The method includes detecting an insect swarm. The method may further include tracking a movement of the insect swarm. The method further includes communicating, with remaining of the plurality of drones, to dynamically align in a position based on the tracking so as to make a drone formation. The method further includes magnetizing, by at least some of the plurality of drones, one or more drone couplers for electromagnetically coupling the at least some of the plurality of drones with each other as per the drone formation. The method further includes casting, by each of the plurality of drones, a net to trap insects in the insect swarm. The method further includes supplying, by each of the plurality of drones, a high voltage to the net to decapacitate the insects.

System and Methods for Mitigation of Dangerous Wildlife
A device, system and methods are provided which enable images to be captured by an image capturing device. A processor may execute an algorithm to identify any dangerous wildlife present in the captured images. Based on identifying dangerous wildlife, the processor circuit may enable a repellent intervention including a spray of water, audible alarm, olfactory agent, seismic signal or other interventions. The processor circuit may communicate information based on the identified animal to a user via a mobile device or other communication device.
System and Methods for Mitigation of Dangerous Wildlife
A device, system and methods are provided which enable images to be captured by an image capturing device. A processor may execute an algorithm to identify any dangerous wildlife present in the captured images. Based on identifying dangerous wildlife, the processor circuit may enable a repellent intervention including a spray of water, audible alarm, olfactory agent, seismic signal or other interventions. The processor circuit may communicate information based on the identified animal to a user via a mobile device or other communication device.

Described herein is a deterrence system for deterring animals from a vicinity of an environment monitoring apparatus, the system includes: a detector system having at least one sensor configured to generate a presence signal indicative of the presence of an object within a predefined vicinity of the environment monitoring apparatus; a deterrence processing system; and a repulsion system, wherein the deterrence processing system is configured to: monitor the presence signal; determine, from the presence signal, the presence of an object within the predefined vicinity of the environment monitoring apparatus; and communicate a command for the repulsion system to perform a sequence of one or more repulsion events actions in response to determining that an object is present, and wherein the repulsion system is configured to: perform one or more repulsion events responsive to receipt of the command from the deterrence processing system.

An automated system for mitigating risk from a wind turbine includes a plurality of optical imaging sensors. A controller receives and analyzes images from the optical imaging sensors to automatically send a signal to curtail operation of the wind turbine to a predetermined risk mitigating level when the controller determines from images received from the optical imaging sensors that an airborne animal is at risk from the wind turbine.

Imaging array for bird or bat detection and identification
An automated system for mitigating risk from a wind farm. The automated system may include an array of a plurality of image capturing devices independently mounted in a wind farm. The array may include a plurality of low resolution cameras and at least one high resolution camera. The plurality of low resolution cameras may be interconnected and may detect a spherical field surrounding the wind farm. A server is in communication with the array of image capturing devices. The server may automatically analyze images to classify an airborne object captured by the array of image capturing devices in response to receiving the images.
