Wearable Device
A wearable device configured to selectively provide roller transportation, the wearable device including a shoe, a plurality of wheel assemblies, each wheel assembly being configured to selectively roll relative to a ground surface about an associated axis of rotation, and a frame connected between the wheel assemblies, the frame comprising a trunk and a plurality of branches extending from the trunk, each of the branches being configured for connection to at least one of the plurality of wheel assemblies, wherein at least a portion of the shoe is located vertically higher than at least a portion of the frame when at least one of the wheel assemblies is in contact with the ground surface and the at least one of the wheel assemblies is positioned to selectively roll relative to the ground surface.
MULTI-LAYERED SKATES
A multi-layered skate has a base layer, two fabric layers which are disposed at two sides of the base layer respectively, and a non-woven layer arranged next to one of the fabric layers, at least one fiber of the non-woven layer is intertwined with at least one fiber of the fabric layers.
Skate or other footwear
A skate (e.g., an ice skate) for a skater (e.g., a hockey player). The skate comprises a skate boot for receiving a foot of the skater and a skating device (e.g., a blade and a blade holder) disposed beneath the skate boot to engage a skating surface (e.g., ice). At least part of the skate boot and optionally at least part of one or more other components (e.g., the skating device) may be constructed from one or more materials (e.g., foams) molded by flowing in molding equipment during a molding process (e.g., injection molding or casting). This may allow the skate (or other footwear) to have useful performance characteristics (e.g., reduced weight, proper fit and comfort, etc.) while being more cost-effectively manufactured. Other articles of footwear are also provided.
Athletic gear with a printed cover
An article of athletic gear, such as an article of protective athletic equipment (e.g., a leg pad, an arm pad, shoulder pads, a chest protector, or a protective glove), wearable by a user and comprising a core (e.g., comprising protective padding) and a cover that is disposed on the core and comprises synthetic material and a printed image (e.g., a digitally-printed image) on the synthetic material.
SKATE OR OTHER FOOTWEAR
A skate or other footwear, comprising a skate boot or other foot-receiving structure for receiving a user's foot and possibly one or more other components, such as a skating device below the skate boot to engage a skating surface. At least part of the skate 5 boot or other foot-receiving structure and optionally at least part of one or more other components (e.g., the skating device) may be constructed from one or more materials (e.g., foams) molded by flowing during a molding process (e.g., injection molding or casting). This may allow useful performance characteristics (e.g., reduced weight, better comfort, etc.) and cost-effective manufacturing. One or more parts of the skate 0 boot or other foot-receiving structure (e.g., a toe cap, a tendon guard, etc.) may be reinforced to enhance impact resistance, durability, and/or other aspects thereof. The skate boot or other foot-receiving structure may be customized by being thermoformed on the user's foot more efficiently.
