Stabilizing Overshoe for Cleated Footwear
The present stabilizing overshoe includes one or more stabilizers that extend up from the sole of the stabilizing overshoe and overlap the overshoe upper to a height sufficient to at least partially overlay a cleated shoe upper of a cleated shoe inserted within the stabilizing overshoe. The stabilizer augments the rigidity of the overshoe upper to substantially decrease lateral shifting, rolling, and twisting of the cleated shoe relative to the stabilizing overshoe. In one or more embodiments, the overshoe upper is made of an elastic material configured to tightly enclose the cleated shoe, further restricting movement. In one or more embodiments, a stabilizing protrusion protrudes from or is situated atop the insole or the sole of the stabilizing overshoe, such that the stabilizing protrusion is compressed between the sole of the cleated shoe and the sole of the stabilizing overshoe to further grip and hold steady the cleated shoe.
SOLE STRUCTURES AND ARTICLES OF FOOTWEAR HAVING SEPARATE OUTSOLE AND MIDSOLE COMPONENTS
Articles of footwear in accordance with some aspects of this technology include a simple construction that includes three main parts, with each made from a single material and fit together in a releasable manner. The invention enhances the recyclability and sustainable nature of the article of footwear and shoe. At least some more specific aspects of this technology relate to footwear structure that may include three main parts: (a) an outer cage, which may include a single piece having features of: (i) a footwear upper and (ii) a sole structure having one or more cleat outer shells; (b) an inner upper component; and (c) a chassis and heel counter component with a bottom surface thereof that includes one or more cleat inserts and supports that fit inside the one or more cleat outer shells.
Articles and methods of making articles including a coating
The present disclosure is directed to articles that include a cured coating that includes a matrix of crosslinked polymers and optionally a colorant (e.g., pigment particles or dye or both). The cured coating can include a matrix of crosslinked polymers. The cured coating is a product of crosslinking a coating composition comprising uncrosslinked polymers (e.g., a dispersion of uncrosslinked polymers in a carrier to form the matrix of crosslinked polymers), wherein the uncrosslinked polymers are crosslinked to form the matrix of crosslinked polymers. The matrix of crosslinked polymers can be elastomeric. The present disclosure is also directed to articles including these bladders, methods of forming these bladders, and methods of making articles including these bladders, where the bladders include the cured coating.
SHOE SOLE
A shoe sole basically includes a body and a cover. The body extends in a longitudinal direction between a toe end and a heel end. The body includes a receiving area so as to receiving a cleat-nut provided in between the toe end and the heel end. The cover is configured to cover the receiving area in a state where the cover is coupled to the body. The receiving area includes a body engagement part. The cover includes a cover engagement part configured to be detachably engaged with the body engagement part.
Articles including coated fibers and methods of making coated fibers and articles
The present disclosure is directed to articles that include one or more coated fiber(s) (i.e., fiber(s) with a cured coating disposed thereon), where the coating includes a matrix of crosslinked polymers and optionally a colorant (e.g., pigment particles or dye or both). The cured coating is a product of crosslinking a coating composition including uncrosslinked polymers (e.g., a dispersion of uncrosslinked polymers in a carrier, wherein the uncrosslinked polymers are crosslinked to form the matrix of crosslinked polymers). The present disclosure is also directed to articles including the coated fibers, methods of forming the coated fibers and articles, and methods of making articles including the coated fibers.
Sole element
This invention concerns a sole element for a cleated article of footwear, in particular for a football shoe. The sole element includes a composite element with an anisotropic bending property. The sole element further includes a polymer element, and the polymer element at least partially covers the composite element of the sole element.
SOLE ELEMENT
This invention concerns a sole element for a cleated article of footwear, in particular for a football shoe. The sole element includes a composite element with an anisotropic bending property. The sole element further includes a polymer element, and the polymer element at least partially covers the composite element of the sole element.
Cleated shoe cover
The present disclosure provides a cleated shoe cover comprising a flexible shell forming an internal volume with a heel area and a ball and toe area, an opening for receiving a shoe, and having internal flexible, durable, tear-resistant cushioning members disposed on both the heel area and the ball and toe area. The heel area and ball and toe area are also supported by external support members. The cleats of a shoe will sink firmly into the internal tear-resistant cushioning members, gripping them in place to prevent horizontal movement within the shoe cover, while the external support members stop the flexible shell from also deforming around the cleats and thus provide the wearer with better balance.
