A method of forming an upper for an article of footwear includes providing a first material layer over a shoe last, providing a second material layer over the first material layer such that the first and second material layers adhere to each other at an interface between the first and second material layers, where one or both of the first material layer and second material layer is provided by spray forming a polymer material onto the last. The material layers are removed from the last and turned inside out such that the first material layer includes an exposed surface that forms an exterior surface of the upper.

Waterproof boot with internal convection system

Disclosed is a waterproof shoe with an improved ventilation mechanism, designed to circulate air from the outside environment through the shoe in order to provide convective cooling to a wearer's foot. In a desired embodiment, the shoe may incorporate a pump-ventilation mechanism which, coupled with airflow channels incorporated in the upper, acts to establish continuous substantially one-way airflow through the shoe in a heel-to-toe direction while a user walks.

SHOE

The shoe 100 includes the outer sole 10 brought in contact with the road surface, the midsole 20 arranged on the outer sole 10, and the upper 9 covering the foot from the upper side. The midsole 20 includes at the middle foot portion the cut-out portion 21 and the like opened to the outside and closed at the middle portion in the width direction.
