Medical shoe having a plurality of outsole projections
A medical shoe having a plurality of outsole projections is provided. The medical shoe may include a sole assembly configured to support a foot, and a frame surrounding the sole assembly. The sole assembly may include a midsole portion forming a substantially planar surface for supporting the foot and an outsole portion including the plurality of outsole projections extending from the midsole portion. The frame may include a plurality of through holes corresponding to the plurality of outsole projections. The plurality of outsole projections may extend through the plurality of through holes so as to form a ground contacting surface. The plurality of outsole projections may also be provided in a symmetrical pattern. The sole assembly may be secured to the frame by a self-locking fit between the sole assembly and the frame.
OUTSOLE FOR SAFETY FOOTWEAR AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH AN OUTSOLE
The present invention relates to an outsole (1) for safety footwear (10) comprising a top surface (2), designed to support the foot of the wearer, a bottom surface (4), designed to be in contact with the ground, and a side surface (6), designed to connect the top surface (2) and the bottom surface (4). The outsole (1) is further provided with an anti-perforation layer (8) and with at least one ventilation passage (12) designed to put into fluidic communication the side surface (6) and the top surface (2) of the outsole (1). According to the invention the outsole (1) is characterized in that the anti-perforation layer (8) is arranged between the bottom surface (4) and the at least one ventilation passage (12) at the heel portion of the outsole (1) and is arranged close to the top surface (2) at a forefoot portion of the outsole (1). The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing such an outsole (1).
SHOE SOLE
Shoe sole comprising a main structure that defines a tread surface and opposing sides of the sole, said main structure comprising a top layer facing, in use, the sole of the foot, a bottom layer facing the ground, and a reinforcing member interposed between said top and bottom layers. The reinforcing member is made of a material with greater rigidity than the bottom layer, and comprises a front portion and a rear portion joined together by a bridging section. A forefoot through opening is defined on the front portion and a hindfoot through opening is defined on the rear portion, in such a way that a midfoot through opening is defined between the bridging section and the bottom layer.
Insert for footwear
Disclosed is a readily removable molded insert for footwear, including dress or casual shoes and sneakers. The insert may be manufactured from a variety of resiliently compressible, semi-rigid, and/or resiliently deformable materials and is designed for the purpose of maintaining the general shape and appearance of the upper section of a shoe. Embodiments of the insert are specifically designed to adapt to and conform to the shape of footwear and also to adapt to the contour of a user’s foot while the footwear is being worn. The insert may be further cut, trimmed, or separated to fit a range of shoe sizes, by use of perforations along the outer rim of certain embodiments of the insert. Another embodiment of the insert may remain adhesively attached to the inside of the shoe, or it may be removed and repositioned within the shoe, as necessary.
LAST FOR AN ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR
A last for forming an upper of an article of footwear includes a first portion including a lateral side and a medial side that opposes the lateral side, and a second portion connected with and extending upward and transversely outward in an angled manner away from the first portion such that a terminal end of the second portion is distanced from the first portion. An exterior surface of the last can include a plurality of three dimensional structural surface components disposed over at least 50% of the exterior surface of the last.
Shoes
The present invention relates to a shoe including an upper, the upper including an instep cover that covers the instep of a foot. The instep cover includes an instep cover body and a tongue. Two or more protrusions that are configured to extend in use from the instep cover body toward the foot are located at least in a region between the MP joint and the talus in a side portion of the instep cover body. The protrusions are made of embroidery. The protrusions have a height of 0.5 mm or more, a width of 2 mm or more, and a length of 2 mm or more. A distance between each pair of the adjacent protrusions is 2 mm or more in part of the region. The shoe of the present invention includes the upper that improves the heat dissipation properties without impairing the contact between the foot and the shoe.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL PRINTING OF A TRACED ELEMENT
A method of forming a traced element is disclosed. The method may include printing layers of a traced element and incorporating a textile strand in overlapping polymer layers of the traced element. In some embodiments, the traced element may be formed on a base layer. The traced element may be incorporated into an upper for an article of footwear.
Footwear having sensor system
A sensor system is adapted for use with an article of footwear and includes an insert member including a first layer and a second layer, a port connected to the insert and configured for communication with an electronic module, a plurality of force and/or pressure sensors on the insert member, and a plurality of leads connecting the sensors to the port.
Customizable footwear for children and associated use thereof
A customizable footwear system including a footwear having a smooth, water-impermeable washable material covering a major surface area of an upper region of the footwear, and a smooth, water-impermeable outer sole extending along a lower region of the footwear and abutted against the washable material, and a plurality of orifices passing through the outer sole in such a manner that fluid and debris is channeled downwardly from the washable material, through the outer sole and out from a bottom-most surface of the outer sole.
Shoe Drainage System
A closable drainage system for a sole of a shoe, the closable drainage system including a drain configured to communicate between sole top and bottom surfaces of the sole, the drain having opposing drain upper and lower faces; at least one drainage aperture element disposed within the drain, the drainage aperture element defining a drainage channel which communicates between the drain upper and lower faces; and a movable member overlaying the drain upper face, the movable member movable over the drain upper face to provide open and closed conditions of the drainage channel; whereby in the open condition, the movable member disposes to allow passage through the drainage channel and correspondingly, between the sole top and bottom surfaces; and whereby in the closed condition, the movable member disposes to preclude passage through the drainage channel and correspondingly, between the sole top and bottom surfaces.
