AN INNOVATIVE SOOTHING ORTHOTIC INSOLE WITH A NEW NATURAL HUMAN CORRECTIVE ALIGNMENT GEOMETRY TO IMPROVE FOOT AND BODY ALIGNMENT USING AN IN-DEPTH BIOMECHANICS ANALYSIS AND STATE OF THE ART 3D MODELLING, REPRESENTING A NEW STANDARD OF CARE AND QUALITY
An orthotic insole and a method for manufacturing the same, the orthotic insole comprising: an insole body receivable in a footwear, the insole body having a front body end, a rear body end opposite the front body end, a top body surface for receiving a foot of the user and a bottom surface configured to be received on an insole of the footwear, the top insole surface including a plurality of top surface portions, each top surface portion being substantially angled relative to an adjacent top surface portion, the top surface being substantially untwisted along its length between the front and rear body ends such that the top surface remains leveled in a widthwise direction as the top body surface extends from the front body end to the rear body end.
Sandal with heel strap
A Sandal with Heel Strap with several orthotic benefits is provided. The sandal has a unique combination of features what will be useful for the treatment and prevention of plantar fasciitis. The Sandal with Heel Strap has a medial split in the medial heel section of the sole. The medial split is designed so that it absorbs more energy than the other parts of the heel and promotes a lateral to medial rotation of the heel portion during the wearer's gait. In a preferred embodiment, the sandal will include a rocker bottom sole and raised bed for the big toe that begins its rise at the metatarsophalangeal joint. In an additional preferred embodiment, the sole of the sandal will also include a metatarsal bar that supports the traverse arch and an upward bend that begins to rise from the sole at a point just forward of the end of the medial split and intersects with the metatarsal bar.
Combined shoe and orthotic support
A combined shoe and orthotic support including a bracing assembly, a closing assembly and a protective assembly. The bracing assembly includes a back side support, a left rigid brace, a right rigid brace, and a tongue that are adapted to surround the user's ankle to provide support against ankle issues such as sprains, fractures or the like. The plurality of straps included in the closing assembly allows the user to adjust the bracing assembly around the ankle with a predetermined adjustment. The front side support and the closing assembly further includes laces and a zipper, wherein the laces allow the present invention to be adjusted around the foot and the zipper allows the front side support to be widely opened, allowing the user's foot to be placed in and out of the shoe with ease.
Cuboid pad
A human shoe sole has foot supporting upper surface including a first region for supporting the first, second, third, fourth and optionally fifth metatarsal heads of the foot of the wearer when the human shoe sole is worn; a second region for supporting the wearer's heel when the shoe sole is worn; and a section bridging the first section and the second section. The shoe sole includes a cuboid pad immediately forward the second section configured to underlie essentially the central interior region of the cuboid bone of the wearer, The cuboid pad includes an obliquely running groove or notch on a superior surface of the cuboid pad arranged to align with the location of the peroneus longus tendon of the wearer.
ORTHOSIS AND METHOD OF USE
An orthosis for footwear includes an insert having a plurality of retainers, and a plurality of adjustment elements of predetermined configuration which can be removably retained by the insert to alter the shape of the insert adjacent the arch of a subject's foot when located in the footwear. The orthosis provides an improved device and method for alleviating at least one of the symptoms of a foot condition, such as flat feet.
Insole pivot system for footwear
A shoe, particularly a high-heeled shoe, containing a convex midfoot support structure formed of a cushioning material that is sized and shaped to have a height (h.sub.1) sufficient to contact and to support at least a portion of the midfoot area of the wearer's foot. The midfoot support may be constructed of an elastomeric material with a maximum thickness of between 10 mm and 22 mm, and includes a support platform and side walls. Preferably, a forefoot support may also be provided on the upper surface of the insole in the forefoot portion of the insole.
