CUSTOMIZABLE SHOE INSERT
An orthotic support insert is configured to be positioned within a shoe. The insert is formed of a cushioning material having a plurality of indicator lines.
ADJUSTABLE CORRECTIVE SHOE COMPONENT
An adjustable corrective shoe component is provided. The shoe component can be disposed in an inner lining of a shoe. The shoe component may include a shell formed conformal to an interior bottom surface of the shoe and curving upwards at sides of the shoe. The shell may include a forefoot section to accommodate a forefoot area of a foot, a middle section to accommodate a midfoot area of the foot, and a hind section to accommodate a hind area of the foot. The shoe component may include a strap attached to a medial side of the middle section and configured to pull the middle section towards a lateral side of the shoe to cause the middle section to support an arch of the foot.
Article of footwear having a heel fixing system
An article of footwear includes a sole and an upper that includes a heel end, a toe end, a medial side, and a lateral side. The upper defines a throat opening between the medial and lateral sides, and the sole and the upper jointly defining a foot cavity. The article of footwear further includes a support member extending from a first side of the article of footwear to a second side of the article of footwear, and an actuator fixedly attached to the support member at the first side of the article of footwear. A securing strap extends across the throat opening and has a first end operably connected to the actuator and a second end fixedly connected to the second side of the article of footwear.

PROTECTOR FOR BARE FEET
A flexible-member foot protector has an outer shape and dimensions generally adapted to match an outer shape and dimensions of a sole of a wearer's foot. The flexible member's top includes a raised region adjacent to the outer edge that will be aligned with an arch of the wearer's foot when the wearer's foot is placed on the top. The top also includes a first contiguous raised rim along the top adjacent to the flexible member's outer edge. The flexible member's bottom includes a second contiguous raised rim adjacent to the flexible member's outer edge. The bottom also includes a plurality of spaced-apart relief members within the confines of the second contiguous raised rim. Each of the relief members has a height that is less than a height of the second contiguous raised rim.
ORTHOPEDIC WALKING BOOT HAVING A MECHANICALLY ADJUSTABLE RAMP INSERT
An orthopedic walking boot includes a housing configured to encompass at least a user's foot, a mechanically adjustable ramp insert including a ramp surface and disposed in the housing, an adjusting mechanism configured to adjust an elevation angle of the ramp surface, and a mechanically adjustable lift configured to cause the mechanically adjustable ramp insert to descend within the housing as the ramp surface is elevated such that vertical displacement of the user's foot caused by elevation of the ramp surface is substantially attenuated. Related methods are also provided.

The shoe component may include a strap attached to a medial side of the middle section and configured to pull the middle section towards a lateral side of the shoe to cause the middle section to support an arch of the foot.
SANDAL WITH ADJUSTABLE ARCH SUPPORT
A sandal that uses a pump and bladder system to provide foot arch support a user. The sandal uses a strap system that defines a pump and a tubing system that attaches to the front and instep of a sandal. The instep of the sandal defines an air bladder that connects to the tubbing system. The air bladder inflates and provides arch support to a user of the sandal.
SANDAL WITH HEEL STRAP
A Sandal with Heel Strap with several orthotic benefits is provided. The sandal has a unique combination of features what will be useful for the treatment and prevention of plantar fasciitis. The Sandal with Heel Strap has a medial split in the medial heel section of the sole. The medial split is designed so that it absorbs more energy than the other parts of the heel and promotes a lateral to medial rotation of the heel portion during the wearer's gait. In a preferred embodiment, the sandal will include a rocker bottom sole and raised bed for the big toe that begins its rise at the metatarsophalangeal joint. In an additional preferred embodiment, the sole of the sandal will also include a metatarsal bar that supports the traverse arch and an upward bend that begins to rise from the sole at a point just forward of the end of the medial split and intersects with the metatarsal bar.
FUNCTIONAL ORTHOTIC SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR FOOTWEAR
An orthotic support structure or shell may be used with footwear intrinsically or as a removable and transferable device. The footwear may be a sandal assembly including a sole, a strap and an orthotic shell. The strap is attached to the sole and configured to secure the sole against the foot. The orthotic shell is positioned within the sole and formed from a semi-rigid material. The orthotic shell includes a heel portion configured to support a heel region of the foot, and a midfoot portion connected to the heel portion and configured to support an arch region of the foot, the midfoot portion comprising an arched shank having a curved convex shape. The arched shank is configured to deflect under a downward force applied thereon which reactively rotates the heel portion toward the heel region of the foot.
