Direct bottomed article of footwear with a film
An article of footwear has an upper that is direct attached with the sole. The sole has a film extending up sidewalls of the sole to a film edge that is prior to the sidewall and the upper joining. Method of manufacture of the article of footwear includes steps of positioning a film over a mold cavity and then securing the film to the mold. The film is heated and then drawn into the mold cavity under a vacuum. The film forms a liner of the mold cavity. A foam composition is injected into the lined mold cavity. As the foam composition expands, the foam composition interacts with and mechanically engages with the upper that is positioned at the mold cavity to allow for the mechanical engagement that results in the direct attach of the sole to the upper. The film is then trimmed from the sole sidewalls.

ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR
The present invention relates to an article of footwear comprising an upper having a first ground facing surface; a primary sole part having a first foot facing surface defining a first volume for receiving an injected material in a cross-sectional area between the first proximal surface and the first distal surface of the upper, a second ground facing surface and a peripheral surface; and a secondary sole part having a second foot facing surface and a second ground facing surface, where the secondary sole part and extends between the upper and the primary sole part.
SHOE WITH UPPER AT LEAST PARTIALLY RENDERED IMPERMEABLE
A shoe with an upper that is at least partially rendered impermeable, including a sole; an insole; an upper assembly, which at least comprises a breathable lining, a breathable upper, and, interposed between at least part thereof, a layer that is waterproof and is fixed hermetically below the insole, the upper assembly being associated with the insole; and a region providing a waterproof seal of the insole to the sole, the sealing region substantially surrounding the breathable or perforated portion that is free for perspiration.
Plastic composition, midsole made from the same and method of making
A plastic composition includes a polymer component. The polymer component includes an ethylene-vinyl (EVA) copolymer, a first ethylene--olefin copolymer having a hardness ranging from 55 Shore A to 60 Shore A measured according to ASTM D2240, a second ethylene--olefin copolymer having a hardness ranging from 85 Shore A to 90 Shore A measured according to ASTM D2240, and polypropylene (PP). The plastic product made from the composition has a loss factor ratio of tan (20 C.) to tan (40 C.) at a frequency of 10 Hz, which ranges from 2.5 to 3.8. A midsole and a method of producing the midsole are also disclosed.
INJECTION-MOLDING METHOD
The invention concerns a method of producing an article of footwear comprising: providing an upper; providing a mold and opening the mold; inserting the upper into the open mold; closing the mold; and injecting a pressurized molten resin, wherein, after the injecting, there is a gap filled with the resin between a side wall of the mold and an outer surface of at least a first portion of the upper, wherein the gap is essentially zero at a contacting point, wherein the gap increases gradually from the contacting point in at least a first region of the mold.

FOOTWEAR WITH PADDING AND MIDSOLE STRUCTURES AND THE METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A method of manufacturing an article of footwear includes positioning an upper on a last that defines openings connected by one or more channels in the last, injecting a material through the one or more channels in the last, and forming a structure on the upper with the material.
