CRITTER RESISTANT ELECTRICAL CONTROL BOX FOR USE OUTDOORS
An electrical control box for outdoor use that has a number of sealants provided to help prevent moisture from causing corrosion to the components inside the box, as well as providing resistance to attack of the box by critters, such as raccoons, mice, and the like. In some embodiments, a curable polyurethane is used.
Barrier System
A barrier system includes a substantially vertical structure representing an exterior surface of a home. The barrier system also includes a coating layer disposed over and circumscribing at least 80% of the substantially vertical structure. The coating layer is in the form of a band and the substantially vertical structure includes an upper region above the coating layer that is free of the coating layer. The coating layer has a height of at least 0.25 inches, has a dried film thickness of at least 5 mils, and has an average surface roughness (R.sub.a) of less than 10 microns.

CAVITATION BARRIER FOR AQUATIC SPECIES
Embodiments of the present invention provide a novel deterrent barrier based on the phenomenon of fluid cavitation. A drive unit comprising a motor and a propeller are configured for inducing cavitation in water. The cavitation takes the form of a rotationally confined vertical column of cavitation bubbles extending from the propeller, and a one-dimensional series of drive units spanning the width of a waterway may provide an effective, environmentally friendly and non-lethal barrier against entry of target fish species.

BARRIER REINFORCEMENT
A modular reinforcement system for reinforcing barriers comprising panels that can be hingedly connected to one another and to an underlying barrier in various configurations. The panels can be used for covering gaps to prevent the ingress or egress of animals through the gaps or openings. The panels are modular in nature, and multiple panels can be attached in various configurations to cover as much or little of a barrier as needed. The panels can be easily installed, moved, and removed, permitting ease of access to the barriers and surfaces behind them.
Crawling arthropod intercepting device and method
An intercepting device (e.g. a furniture coaster device) is placed under furniture (bed, sofa, chair. etc.), other climbable object, or the floor adjacent an object to intercept crawling arthropods and other crawling pests. The intercepting device can be used to monitor the presence of crawling arthropods and other crawling pests (such as bed bugs, ants, cockroaches, beetles, spiders, etc.), reduce pest numbers, and monitor efficacy of pest control procedures. The intercepting device includes pitfall trap surfaces that form multiple pitfall traps.

SYSTEM TO DETER RODENTS FROM ACCESSING A PIPE SYSTEM
A rodent deterrent system for a pipe system, the pipe system including a T-junction and a midsection riser. The deterrent system for the T-junction includes a first mesh screen configured to surround a vertical portion of the T-junction and a second mesh screen configured to surround a horizontal portion of the T-junction. Also, the deterrent system for a perforated riser includes a mesh wrap sleeve configured to surround the midsection of the riser. Alternatively, the riser midsection sleeve can be lengthened so that the second mesh is not needed as the lengthened sleeve also performs the same function as the second screen.
