CATALYST COMPOSITION FOR OXIDATIVE DEHYDROGENATION OF ALKANE
The present invention provides a catalyst composition for the production of olefins from lighter alkanes by oxidative dehydrogenation route and methods of making the dehydrogenation catalyst composites.
Supported metal catalyst
A long-life catalyst which can be easily and inexpensively manufactured and has high activity and suppressed leakage of metal. A catalyst according to some embodiments includes: a substrate; and a first metal atom as a catalytic center. The substrate contains a non-metallic atom and a second metal atom, and the non-metallic atom is any one selected from the group consisting of a group 15 element, a group 16 element and a group 17 element.
SUPPORTED BIMETALLIC CORE-SHELL STRUCTURE CATALYST AND ITS PREPARATION METHOD
The purpose of the invention is to provide a supported bimetallic core-shell structure catalyst and its preparation method. Supporter, metal salt and reducing agent solution are mixed to synthesize the catalyst M@PdM/ZT by using a one-step synthesis method, wherein the active metal particle M@PdM as core-shell structure, M Is the core representing one of the Ag, Pt, Au and Ir. ZT is the supporter, representing one of hydrotalcite (Mg.sub.2Al-LDH), alumina (Al.sub.2O.sub.3) and silica (SiO.sub.2). By changing the temperature and the reaction time to control the kinetic behavior of the reduction of two kinds of metal ions to realize the construction of core-shell structure. Active metal particle composition and shell thickness are regulated by controlling metal ion concentration. The bimetallic core-shell catalyst prepared by this method showed excellent selectivity and stability in acetylene selective hydrogenation and anthraquinone hydrogenation.
Catalysts for petrochemical catalysis
Metal oxide catalysts comprising various dopants are provided. The catalysts are useful as heterogeneous catalysts in a variety of catalytic reactions, for example, the oxidative coupling of methane to C2 hydrocarbons such as ethane and ethylene. Related methods for use and manufacture of the same are also disclosed.
Oligomerization catalyst and process for the production thereof
The invention relates to an oligomerization catalyst comprising nickel oxide and silica-alumina support material and to a process for oligomerization of C.sub.3- to C.sub.6-olefins using the oligomerization catalyst.
HETEROGENEOUS CATALYSTS
Heterogeneous catalysts with optional dopants are provided. The catalysts are useful in a variety of catalytic reactions, for example, the oxidative coupling of methane to C.sub.2+ hydrocarbons. Related methods for use and manufacture of the same are also disclosed.
Dehydrogenation process at reduced hydrogen to hydrocarbon ratios
Processes for dehydrogenation of a hydrocarbon feedstock are described. The process can be run at lower H.sub.2/HC ratios and lower RITs while maintaining coke production at the same level as operation at higher H.sub.2/HC ratios and higher RITs without decreasing the yield per pass. Acceptable levels of coke were achieved when operating the process at low hydrogen to hydrocarbon molar ratio in the range of 0.01 to 0.40 and reactor inlet temperatures in the range of 500-645 C.
Systems and methods for the oxidative coupling of methane
The present disclosure provides systems and methods for producing olefins via an oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) process. The systems and methods may comprise the use of a staged process comprising at least one non-adiabatic section that is in thermal communication with a heat transfer medium and at least one substantially adiabatic section. The systems and methods may also comprise the use of a diluent stream which may improve methane conversion in an OCM reactor and an ethylene/ethane ratio in a post-bed cracking unit. The methods and systems may further comprise injecting oxygen (O.sub.2) and a paraffin into a gas stream containing a radical transfer agent to provide a reaction mixture. The reaction mixture may be held in a vessel for a time period greater than an auto-ignition delay time (AIDT), such that the reaction mixture may ignite to liberate heat and convert to a product mixture comprising olefins.
Catalyst and Method Related Thereto
The present disclosures and inventions relate to a catalyst and method for producing and using the catalyst for the selective conversion of a hydrogen/carbon monoxide mixture (syngas) to C2+ hydrocarbons, while reducing the production of carbon dioxide.
Catalyst for olefins generation
An active material useful in an oxidative dehydrogenation reactor system has an active phase, and a mixed metal oxide support phase. The active phase includes a transition metal oxide such as manganese oxide, which is reversibly oxidizable and/or reducible between oxidized and reduced states. The support phase includes a mixed metal oxide of a two or more IUPAC Group 2-14 elements. The active phase can also include a promoter such as Na-WO4 and/or a selectivity modifier such as Al or ceria. Also, a reactor including the active material in a reactor, a method of making the active material, and a method of using the active material in a regenerative reaction process.
