DROP-IN UNITARY FOOTWEAR SOLE WITH FIRST AND SECOND CUSHIONING BODIES OF DIFFERING HARDNESS
20210068500 · 2021-03-11 · ·

A sole structure for an article of footwear includes a unitary sole with a first cushioning body having a first hardness and a second cushioning having a second hardness greater than the first hardness. Both the first and the second cushioning bodies are exposed at a periphery of the sole. The second cushioning body may have a wedge surface that interfaces with a lateral extremity of the first cushioning body and angles laterally outward toward a lateral side exterior surface of the sole from a lower extent to an upper extent of the wedge surface. The second cushioning body may underlie the first cushioning body in a portion of a forefoot region of the sole such that the first cushioning body establishes a foot-facing exterior surface and the second cushioning body establishes a ground-facing exterior surface of the sole where the first cushioning body overlies the second cushioning body.

INSOLE

An insole (2) has a heel region (8), an arch region (6) and a forefoot region (4). A pod (10) comprising an encapsulated liquid is partially embedded in a foam layer in the heel region (8). The impact of foot strike can lead to large forces on joints in the body. The insole (2) with the pod (10) reduces the impact of foot strike and therefore can lessen the impact of steps on the body.

ELECTRICALLY DISSIPATIVE REMOVABLE INSOLE, PARTICULARLY FOR PROFESSIONAL WORK SHOES

An electrically dissipative removable insole, including at least one lower layer made of an electrically dissipative material, and at least one upper layer overlapped on said lower layer made of a fabric of natural and/or synthetic fibers. The upper layer includes one or more openings which expose said electrically dissipative material of which said lower layer is made, and said one or more openings are adapted to allow direct contact of a sole of a wearer's foot with said electrically dissipative material.

Cushioning article with tensile component and method of manufacturing a cushioning article

A cushioning article comprises a first and a second polymeric sheet bonded to one another and enclosing an interior cavity. The polymeric sheets retain a gas in the interior cavity. A tensile component disposed in the interior cavity includes a first tensile layer, a second tensile layer, and a plurality of tethers spanning the interior cavity and connecting the first tensile layer to the second tensile layer. An inwardly-protruding bond joins the first polymeric sheet to the first tensile layer, protrudes inward from the first polymeric sheet toward the second polymeric sheet, and partially traverses the plurality of tethers. The first polymeric sheet is displaced from the first tensile layer adjacent to the inwardly-protruding bond by the gas. A method of manufacturing a cushioning article is disclosed.

The invention concerns an insole comprising a substrate and a printed layer, wherein the substrate comprises a first friction coefficient on a reference surface and the printed layer comprises a second friction coefficient on the reference surface, which is higher than the first friction coefficient.

Comfort in motion footwear

A holistically improved shoe that incorporates beneficial aspects relating to a variety of interconnected elements, including comfort, sustainability, washability, ease of manufacturing, style, freedom and natural movement of the foot, as well as the sensory experience of a user. The shoe contains a removable insert that is configured to be removed and washed in between uses or as needed, such that a sock or other liner is unnecessary. The shoe further includes a footbed and an outsole that contain matching tread patterns. The matching tread patterns of the present technology allow the footbed and the outsole to move in concert by splaying during a stride in order to better absorb shock by mimicking the natural movements of the foot.

CUSTOMIZED SHOE FOR PREVENTING DIABETES, PREVENTING DIABETIC FOOT DUE TO COMPLICATIONS OF DIABETES, AND ALLEVIATING PAIN FROM DIABETIC NECROTIC ULCERATION

Custom shoes for preventing diabetes, preventing diabetic foot caused by diabetic complications and easing ulcer pain of diabetic necrosis which disperse plantar pressure and prevent impact are proposed. The shoes may prevent shoes from creasing and deforming by attaching a deformation prevention frame to an external side of a sole; and increase weights of shoes by manufacturing shoes, wherein columns with which springs are embedded are formed on the bottom, an insole with massaging protrusions formed on the top of columns is attached to the top of the sole, an inner sole made of shock absorption material is attached to the top of the insole, and an upper combined to a sock lining is installed to the top of the insole.

Fiber reinforced plate for articles of footwear and methods of making
11058172 · 2021-07-13 · ·

A method of forming a fiber reinforced plate for an article of footwear is described. The method includes embroidering a reinforcing strand to a substrate layer with a thread according to a strand configuration. One or more substrate layers with strand configurations are arranged relative to a base plate. The one or more substrate layers are bonded to the base plate to form the fiber reinforced plate. The reinforcing strands may be formed of a heat fusible material so that adjacent segments of the strands bond to one another and/or the substrate layer. Various strand configurations of reinforcing strands embroidered to substrate layers are described. Multiple substrate layers with different strand configurations can be bonded together with a base plate to form a fiber reinforced plate with reinforcement at selected locations based on the strand configurations.

Random variable stimulus insoles and footwear to optimize human neuromuscular gait mechanics

A midsole or insole device for a shoe includes a first variable stimulation mechanism positioned to interface one of the metatarsal heads and the heel and a second variable stimulation mechanism positioned to interface a lateral aspect of the foot between the fifth metatarsal head and the heel. During gait-related activities, the first variable stimulation mechanism produces stimulus of an intensity greater than the second variable stimulation mechanism. At least one of the first variable stimulation mechanism and the second variable stimulation mechanism comprises two bonded layers including a resilient stimulating upper layer and a less resilient stimulus-enhancing lower layer. The upper layer includes a plurality of holes that pass through the entirety of the upper layer, and the lower layer includes a plurality of equally spaced upwardly facing projections aligned substantially perpendicular to an upper surface of the upper layer.

Shoe material part

The present invention provides a shoe material part mainly composed of a coffee ground material, a porous material and a rubber-plastic material, and is made of a recycled waste porous material and recycled waste coffee grounds, which can improve the value of waste recycling and reuse, and reduce environmental pollution, in addition to reducing waste, there will be no residue pollution of natural ecology and other issues in the subsequent environmental recycling, quite in line with environmental requirements. In addition, the present invention has the function of natural deodorization, because the coffee grounds can naturally diffuse the aroma of coffee, and the characteristics of better deodorization and air permeability of the coffee grounds can be used to reduce the foul smell of a user's foot.
