Game calling device having adjustable sound and method for using
An animal call which generally includes a housing having a first portion rotatably combined with a second portion. An opening is formed in a wall of the housing between a mouthpiece and an outlet end. A reed is disposed within the opening and is adapted to vibrate in response to passing air. The reed is combined with the first housing portion. A helical member is formed inside the second housing portion. An adjustment member has a helical engagement member that engages the helical member. The adjustment member includes an adjustment arm in frictional engagement with the reed. The helical member acts as an auger to move the adjustment member along the length of the reed as the second housing portion is rotated relative to the first housing portion.
METHOD, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATED AUDITORY LURING OF ANIMALS
I disclose an apparatus, comprising at least one sensor configured to receive at least one signal indicative of a proximity of a first animal, at least one environmental signal, or both; a processor configured to detect a sufficient proximity of the first animal, a favorable environmental condition, or both from the received signal or signals, and emit a triggering signal in response to the detection; and an audio playback device configured to receive the triggering signal and emit a call of a second animal in response to the triggering signal. I also disclose a system comprising the apparatus and a trap; and a method of luring an animal.
Acoustic coupler for a combined game call
The present disclosure includes an acoustic coupler for combining at least two independent reed game calls. The acoustic coupler has a body including a first length bounded by a first end and a second end. The body includes an acoustic chamber therein and at least one aperture extending into the acoustic chamber. The first end and said second end of the body are in fluid communication with the acoustic chamber. The first reed game call is affixed to the first end of the body. An insert in the first reed game call includes an air passage which is in fluid communication with the acoustic chamber. A second reed game call is affixed to the second end of the body. The insert in the second reed game call includes an air passage which is in fluid communication with the acoustic chamber.
SOUND SELECTABLE GAME CALLS
Sound selectable game calls may include a call frame. The call frame may include side frame panels. At least one frame spacer may be disposed between the side frame panels. At least one of the side frame panels may engage the frame spacer or spacers. At least one panel tension adjustment mechanism may engage the side frame panel or panels. The panel tension adjustment mechanism may be configured to adjust engagement tension of the corresponding side frame panel against the frame spacer or spacers. A call paddle may be pivotally supported by the call frame. The call paddle may be configured for contact with and scraping movement across the side frame panel or panels for production of the game call sounds.
Multiplex Waterfowl Call
A duck call or game call that can provide several different species of waterfowl sounds contained in one individual game call. The call consists of four main parts; the head, body, reed assembly, and the tail. The head assembly rotates either clockwise or counter clockwise to align the head with appropriate chamber in the body to produce the users desired waterfowl sound. The reed assembly can be changed out to produce the waterfowl sounds desired by the user for his/her area.
Hunting call
A system, apparatuses, and methods for an animal call are shown and described. A hunting call of the present disclosure may include a base, a radiating arm having an attachment point to the base, a bottom click and a top click. The radiating arm may be resilient at one end to suspend the top click above the bottom click. The top and bottom click may be aligned to allow an interface of the top and the bottom click.
Rabbit and squirrel call device
A portable electronic animal call device comprising a housing, a memory, a plurality of user inputs, a speaker, an amplifier, a power source, a status indicator, and a controller for controlling the electronic components. The housing encloses the electronic components and includes a plurality of sound openings near the speaker. The housing also includes a plurality of ridges and recesses for gripping the device. The memory stores animal sound files therein. The inputs include a power button, a plurality of animal sound selection buttons, and one or more volume inputs. The user holds or presses the power button to turn on and off the device and to resume and pause an animal sound. The user presses one of the animal sound selection buttons to select and play a desired animal sound. The status indicator communicates a power or animal sound status via LED light or similar alert.
Replaceable soundboard inserts and striker member attachment for a box call
A single box call having a plurality of replaceable soundboard inserts and a plurality of replaceable striker members, selectively used in combination together for producing distinctly different sounds that imitate turkey calls. The box call includes a housing having two receiving slots for receiving two soundboard inserts and a fastening means for fastening the soundboard inserts to the housing; and a lid assembly having a lid, a handle, a connecting means for connecting the lid assembly to the housing, a replaceable striker member, and an attachment means for attaching the striker member to the bottom of the lid.
METHOD OF ATTRACTING WATERFOWL VIA WATER SOUNDS
The present disclosure pertains to an innovative method for attracting waterfowl, specifically designed to enhance the efficacy of waterfowl hunting by replicating natural water sounds that mimic the activities of waterfowl, such as splashing, swimming, fishing, and mating. The invention utilizes a mechanical apparatus equipped with a sound-producing puck attached to a reciprocating pole, driven by a motor or by use by hand. The puck is designed to strike the water at controlled intervals, creating a variety of water sounds that effectively mimic natural waterfowl sounds, thereby attracting the birds. This method is intended for use with either standalone devices or in conjunction with existing waterfowl decoys to provide hunters with a novel and more effective way to attract waterfowl by using sounds that replicate natural waterfowl behavior.
INHALATION-BASED REEDLESS WIDGEON DUCK CALL
A duck call device is disclosed for emitting sounds resembling Widgeon duck sounds. The device includes a barrel having an open proximal end configured to make airtight contact with the user's lips, and an open distal end. The device also includes an open resonant chamber sealed circumferentially within the barrel, the open resonant chamber formed by an open convex dome sealed circumferentially to an open concave dome, each dome having a similarly sized central hole in coaxial relationship with the barrel. The open resonant chamber is sized, shaped, and made from a material so as to easily produce a realistic sound of a widgeon duck when a user sucks air in through the barrel. The open resonant chamber is substantially symmetric in that the open convex dome is a mirror reflected version of the open concave dome. The barrel includes a loop for securing a lanyard. No reed is used.
