Hunting scent and call pneumatic gun
A gun for propelling a projectile, such as a scent compound enclosed in an spherical shell, into a hunting environment comprises a frame housing a compressed gas reservoir in fluid communication with a trigger valve that is operatively associated with a manually-actuable trigger to momentarily open the trigger valve. A projectile barrel and a sound barrel are each in fluid communication with the compressed gas reservoir when the trigger valve is open. The sound barrel includes a pneumatic game call. The pneumatic game call is selectively removable from the sound barrel and replaceable with at least one other pneumatic game call that produces a different game call. A distal end of the projectile barrel preferably includes a plurality of scoring blades fixed therewithin, such that upon exiting the projectile barrel the shell of the projectile is scored by the scoring blades.
Remote robotic can call system
The present invention relates to a holder for an animal can call used for hunting. A can call is positioned about the device so that when a user activates a remote control, the holder inverts the can call producing a noise that attracts game animals.
ANIMAL CALL
A device for producing an animal sound such as an elk, deer, or turkey vocalization, the device having two pivotably or vertically connected portions, one portion bearing a bent vibratable reed and the other a compressible foam lining, wherein the sound is produced by blowing air over the reed, the pitch being adjustable by pivoting the portions to be more or less parallel to each other or moving the portions vertically to be closer together or further apart. In another embodiment, there is a single reed-bearing portion, the tongue serving in place of the foam-lined portion.
MOUTHPIECE WITH WHISTLING MECHANISM
A whistle mouthpiece is provided that has a whistle mechanism that comprises one or more openings that may contain one or more reeds or other frequency producing mechanisms that produce the same or different resonant frequencies. The one or more openings may transversely cross the whistle mouthpiece in a parallel manner, or may alternatively exit the whistle mouthpiece at the front portion at a non-parallel location or at another location along the bottom or top of the mouthpiece.
Elk reel
A device for producing a sound like the vocalization of an elk, the device having two pivotably connected portions, wherein said sound is produced by blowing into an opening, the air being directed over a bent vibratable reed, the pitch being adjustable by pivoting the portions to be more or less parallel to each other.
Game Calling Device Having Adjustable Sound and Method for Using
An animal call commonly referred to as a grunt tube. The animal call generally includes an elongated housing, a reed, an expandable member, and an adjustment member. The housing includes a mouthpiece end that allows air to enter the tubular member, an outlet end that emits sounds, and an opening in a wall of the tubular member between the mouthpiece end and the outlet end. The reed vibrates in response to passing air and is disposed within the housing near the mouthpiece end and the opening. An adjustment member has an adjustment arm which contacts the reed. A user can modify the sounds emanating from the outlet end by changing the position of the adjustment arm along the length of the reed to change the vibrational characteristics of the reed. The expandable member is made from a flexible and elastic material thereby allowing it to have a first position wherein it is retracted and a second position where it is extended.
Method and apparatus for acclimating animals to humans
Disclosed is a method for acclimating animals in a habitat area to specific sounds caused by humans, specifically motorized vehicle sounds. Also disclosed is a device for acclimating animals in a habitat area to specific sounds caused by humans acclimating Recorded sounds are played back at specified times using the device, which is remotely positioned in the habitat area. This playback, when conducted for a sufficient period of time, acclimates the animals in that habitat to the recorded sounds.
GAME CALL BARREL
An improved game call barrel is provided with a mouthpiece, a compression region, and a body region. The game call is configured and sized to allow a user to keep an adequate seal between their lips and the game call barrel.
Turkey call apparatus
A pot call includes a pot defining a chamber with an opening, a sound board, at least one spring; and a member defining a striking surface. The sound board is disposed within the chamber and mounted to the pot via the at least one spring. The member defining the striking surface is mounted to the pot such that the member obstructs the opening to the chamber. The pot call provides a more realistic turkey call sound than the prior art by providing improved resonance and volume.
RAKING STICK GAME CALLING DEVICE
Example methods, apparatuses, and/or articles of manufacture related to an attractant for wild game are disclosed that may be implemented, in whole or in part, using a raking stick for attracting bull elk, a bugle tube for calling bull elk and making cow, calf and/or bull elk sounds and a combination of a raking stick and a bugle tube. In a particular implementation, a device may closely imitate the sound of a bull elk raking a tree and/or ground while also being capable of imitating the bugle of a bull elk or cow elk sounds while air is pushed through one end of the raking stick and also being capable of imitating the sound of a bull elk glunking.
