Elk call
An elk call that is configured to produce a desired sound effect capable of attracting elk during an elk hunt. The present invention includes a body wherein the body is manufactured from a flexible plastic tubing. The body has a hollow passage intermediate the first end and second end. The body is encompassed in insulation and wherein the insulation is completely covered in an outer covering. The exterior surface of the body is formed to produce a desired sound effect when raking against a tree. The present invention includes alternate embodiments of mouthpieces secured to the first end. A baffle member is coupled to the second end of the body and includes a first notch and a second notch formed in the wall of the baffle member on opposing sides of the opening of the baffle member.
Multiple Game Calling Device
A multiple game calling device includes a plurality of game call structures each configured to enable making a distinct sound for eliciting a response from a distinct predetermined animal, wherein the game call structures are interconnected. The device includes a case for carrying one or more a diaphragm-type game call to enable making a sound for eliciting a response from a distinct predetermined animal.
GAME CALL HAVING OFFSET SKIRT
A game call includes a holder molded from an elastomeric material that is configured to retain to a resting shape. A body portion of the holder includes a slot formed in an inward-facing surface of the body that extends around a cutout positioned at a front side of the body. The slot formed in the body portion is designed to receive and retain a reed insert that includes a diaphragm configured to extend across the cutout when the reed insert is received in the holder. The holder is designed such that a centerline of an outer skirt is located below a centerline of the body portion such that more than 50% of the thickness of the body portion is above the centerline of the skirt. The offset of the skirt modifies the airflow over the diaphragm.
GAME CALL HAVING AIR DIRECTING RELIEF
A game call includes a holder molded from an elastomeric material that is configured to retain to a resting shape. A body portion of the holder includes a slot formed in an inward-facing surface of the body that extends around a cutout positioned at a front side of the body. The slot formed in the body portion is designed to receive and retain a reed insert that includes a diaphragm configured to extend across the cutout when the reed insert is received in the holder. The holder is designed with a generally planar bottom surface that directs the air flow from the user to the diaphragm. A relief is formed on the holder that extends away from the bottom surface. The protruding relief interrupts the otherwise laminar air flow to create areas of turbulent air flow, The areas of turbulent air flow modify the sound generated by the game call.
Sound selectable game calls
Sound selectable game calls may include a call frame. The call frame may include side frame panels. At least one frame spacer may be disposed between the side frame panels. At least one of the side frame panels may engage the frame spacer or spacers. At least one panel tension adjustment mechanism may engage the side frame panel or panels. The panel tension adjustment mechanism may be configured to adjust engagement tension of the corresponding side frame panel against the frame spacer or spacers. A call paddle may be pivotally supported by the call frame. The call paddle may be configured for contact with and scraping movement across the side frame panel or panels for production of the game call sounds.
DIAPHRAGM MOUTH CALL STORAGE CONTAINER WITH HUMIDITY CONTROL AND ADJUSTABLE POSITIONING SYSTEM
A container for storing diaphragm mouth calls may include a body having an internal cavity configured to enclose one or more diaphragm mouth calls. A moisture control system may be integrated within the body, the moisture control system may comprise a moisture-retaining component and a plurality of adjustable airflow vents. A magnetic securing system may be within the body, the magnetic securing system may comprise a magnetic plate configured to secure the diaphragm mouth calls in position. The moisture-retaining component may comprise a replaceable moisture pad impregnated with antimicrobial agents to prevent growth of mold and bacteria. The magnetic plate may comprise multiple magnetic zones of varying magnetic strengths, configured to accommodate diaphragm mouth calls of different sizes and weights. The adjustable airflow vents may be operable from the exterior of the container and may include filters to prevent ingress of dust and particulate matter.
Game call for hands-free use
An animal call for hands-free use may mimic a cow elk and attract both cow and bull elk. The call is inserted partially into the user's mouth, with an inner end inside the user's mouth between the user's front teeth, and with the outer end extending from the teeth and lips to be outside the user's mouth. The call may be operated by: 1) inhaling air into and through the call and into the user's mouth, for example, at various strengths/volumes, to create the call sound, and 2) changing the user's front teeth pressure against the housing to modify/modulate the sound to be realistic and life-like. Changes in the teeth pressure compress the game call body to various extents, pushing a tongue-like structure inside the call up to engage the diaphragm to various extents, thereby modifying and varying the sounds produced.
Wild game calling device
Example methods, apparatuses, and/or articles of manufacture related to wild game calling are disclosed that may be implemented, in whole or in part, using a game calling device. In a particular implementation, a game calling device may closely imitate the call of an elk while air is passed over a reed to make a game call sound.
Turkey decoy system
A turkey decoy system may include a decoy having a silhouette of a wild turkey with a wry tail. A turkey decoy system may include a decoy supporting our housing a motion sensor which triggers or activates at least one activatable member such as a camera, an actuator to activate a turkey call supported by the decoy, and actuator to rotate the decoy and/or an actuator to change a height of the decoy.
