PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF BIS(PYRROLIDINO)BUTANE IN THE LIQUID PHASE
A process for the production of bis(pyrrolidino)butane (BPB), the process comprising the reaction of pyrrolidine (PYR) in the presence of hydrogen, a heterogeneous catalyst (catalyst) and optionally 1,4-butanediole (BDO) in the liquid phase.
Substituted pyrrolidines as ROS tyrosine kinase inhibitors
The main purpose of the invention is to provide a novel aromatic heterocyclic derivative or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. Examples of the invention include aromatic heterocyclic derivatives represented by general formula [1] and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. ##STR00001## In formula [1]: R.sup.1 represents phenyl optionally substituted with one or two groups selected from the group consisting of halogens, as well as alkyls and alkoxys optionally substituted by halogens; R.sup.2 represents hydrogen, an alkyl, cycloalkyl, or alkoxy optionally substituted by a halogen, or a heteroaryl optionally substituted by an alkyl; X represents CR.sup.3, and Y represents N or CR.sup.4, or X represents N, and Y represents CR.sup.4; and Z represents CR.sup.5 or N.
Acid gas scrubbing composition
This invention provides novel compositions comprising substituted polyamines as acid gas scrubbing solutions and methods of using the compositions in an industrial system. The invention relates to the use of such polyamine compounds in industrial processes to remove acidic contaminants from natural and industrial fluid streams, such as natural gas, combustion gas, natural gas, synthesis gas, biogas, and other industrial fluid streams. The compositions and methods of the invention are useful for removal, absorption, or sequestration of acidic contaminants and sulfide contaminants including CO.sub.2, H.sub.2S, RSH, CS.sub.2, COS, and SO.sub.2.
Phenyl amino pyrimidine compounds and uses thereof
The present invention relates to phenyl amino pyrimidine compounds which are inhibitors of protein kinases including JAK kinases. In particular the compounds are selective for JAK2 kinases. The kinase inhibitors can be used in the treatment of kinase associated diseases such as immunological and inflammatory diseases including organ transplants; hyperproliferative diseases including cancer and myeloproliferative diseases; viral diseases; metabolic diseases; and vascular diseases.
