MOUSETRAP APPARATUS
An improved mousetrap apparatus comprising: a platform including a top surface; a spring; a hammer; a hold down bar; an improved catch member having a catch platform; an attachment member; and at least one elongated strap member including a proximal end and a distal end. The improved mousetrap apparatus is structured and arranged to function as a bait holder such that a rodent may not easily remove the bait from a mouse trap.
Treestand And Climbing Stick Design
The present invention generally relates portable treestand for hunters which comprises a platform and a seat member wherein when the treestand if folded up for easy transport the seat interlocks to the treestand platform creating a shelf useful for carrying gear, backpacks, game, etc. In one embodiment, the platform and/or seat are each of one-piece construction fabricated from a solid aluminum/aluminum alloy workpiece, optionally by a waterjet process.
The invention also contemplates improved climbing sticks, also referred to as ladder modules, for use in climbing trees for hunting or other purposes. The module includes one or more support brackets mounted to the support member. The brackets are generally V-shaped and include a number of teeth on the interior surface of the bracket that engage the tree on which the module is placed to prevent the module from slipping on the tree. These brackets that grip the tree when climbing pivot allowing them to become flush with the body of the stick to minimize profile and to allow the sticks to nest closely together so that they can be easily carries/secured to the treestand of the invention.
The invention also contemplates the treestand of the invention coupled to the climbing sticks of the invention.
Turkey carrier and its method of manufacture
A turkey carrier and method of manufacture of a turkey carrier are described. The turkey carrier may be assembled from a single strip of material, a buckle, and a strip of comfortable padding. The assembled turkey carrier comprises two loops (a small loop and a large padded adjustable loop) and an intermediate area. During use, the intermediate area between the small loop and the large loop of the carrier is positioned under the turkey's legs, typically above the spurs of a male turkey, so that the two loops are on opposite sides of the turkey's legs and the larger loop is inserted through the smaller loop and pulled tight to secure the legs leaving the larger padded loop to be used as a wrist strap. The carrier is designed to tightly secure the turkey's legs while simultaneously providing the user with a comfortable method of transporting the turkey.
Hunting stand
A hunting stand is provided. A frame assembly includes a plurality of legs and a plurality of struts. A platform includes a pair of wheel spindles each extending from laterally from an opposing side of the platform. A seat is secured to an upper surface of the platform. The hunting stand includes an assemble position and a transport position. The assemble position includes the legs and struts of the frame assembly attached together in an upright position elevating the platform, and a top end of the ladder is secured to and extending downward from the platform in a vertical position. The transport position includes the legs and struts detached from one another, the pair of wheels secured to the pair of wheel spindles respectively and the top end of the ladder secured to and extending laterally from the platform in a horizontal position.
Rescue Strap
A rescue strap composed of an elongated strap wherein the distal ends of said strap, each include a handle. The elongated strap may be composed of two separate straps wherein each strap is adjustably coupled via a cam buckle that provides a user to adjust the length of the elongated strap. To aid in the process of adjusting the length, the rescue strap further includes a pull ring for users to easily grab the end of the strap. Additionally, the rescue strap includes a plurality of carabiners to attach the rescue strap to the SCBA shoulder straps of a downed firefighter, thus enabling the user to easily transport the downed firefighter, without risk of the downed firefighter disengaging with the rescue strap.
COLLAPSIBLE WHEELED GAME TRANSPORT CART WITH CARRYING STRAPS
A collapsible wheeled game transport cart is disclosed. The game transport cart includes carrying straps that are used to transport the cart when it is unloaded and collapsed. Straps for securing game to the game transport cart may be provided, and the cart is easily navigated over rough and wooded terrain. A collapsible kickstand may be provided that facilitates loading, transporting and unloading of game.
Small game carriage
The small game carriage includes an elongated tube having an inner diameter at least the size of the head of small game to be carried. An elongated slot, running parallel to the longitude of the tube, is formed through the wall of the tube. The width of the slot is wide enough to accommodate the neck of small game to be carried, but is too small for the head of the taken game to pass radially through the slot. The slot has a terminus near the end of the tube to stop small game from sliding out the bottom of the small game carrier and prevent spreading of the slot near the bottom of the tube. A reinforcing ring may be used near the top of the tube to reduce spreading of the slot near the top of the tube. Means, preferably in the form of a belt clip, is provided to removably attach the small game carrier to the clothing of the user, thereby providing for hands free carriage of a number of small animals with head disposed in the tube, neck disposed in slot and body disposed extending outside of tube and projecting away from wearer's body.
LINE CONNECTOR APPARATUS AND METHOD
A knotless connector is formed at the end of a tool to enable a rope or line to be connected thereto without the use of a knot. The knotless connector has an arcuate portion (i.e., a first member), a shank portion (i.e., a second member), and a side retaining portion (i.e., a third member). An eyelet is partially defined by the arcuate portion and a slot is defined between the shank portion and the side retaining portion. The eyelet and the slot both open in the same transverse direction. The tail end of the line may be wrapped around the shank portion and then the main line portion of the line may be passed through the eyelet. Thereafter, the tail end may also be passed through the eyelet to hold the main line portion of the line in place.
Transport device formed from plastic sheet
A simple device for transporting materials is formed of a sheet of a flexible plastics material of generally tear drop shape to define a front tapered converging portion connected directly to a rear semicircular cupping portion. A rope passes through a pair of transversely spaced holes at the front edge to define a forwardly extending handle portion. The rope extends rearwardly along each side of the front portion to a hole at or adjacent a rear edge of the side edge and is covered by a stiffening tube. The rope passes through holes at the rear cupping portion to define a rear portion of the rope outside the sheet across the rear covered by a stiffening tube engaged over the rear portion of the rope.
