Footwear assembly having a vulcanized rubber layer and polyurethane layer
The present technology relates generally to a footwear assembly and method of manufacturing said footwear assembly. The footwear assembly includes an outsole and an upper connected to the outsole, where the upper includes a neoprene sock, a vulcanized rubber layer, and an injection molded layer. The neoprene sock is a full-foot neoprene sock having a foot portion that is configured to receive a wearer's foot. The vulcanized rubber layer fully covers a vamp portion, heel portion, toe portion, and ankle portion of the neoprene sock while only covering some of an underfoot portion. The injection molded layer is formed over a portion of the vulcanized rubber layer and completely covers the underfoot portion of the neoprene sock.

Waterproof Sock Cover Apparatus
A waterproof sock cover apparatus for keeping feet warm and dry in any boot includes a sock body having a foot portion and a cuff portion. The foot portion is configured to receive a user's foot wearing a standard sock and the cuff portion is configured to extend above the standard sock and below a user's knee. The sock body comprises a breathable and soft inner layer, an insulating medial layer continuously disposed around the inner layer, and a waterproof outer layer continuously disposed around the medial layer. A sole is coupled to a bottom side of the foot portion. An elastic band is coupled to the sock body within an upper perimeter of the cuff portion. The elastic band and the surrounding sock body define an elasticized collar configured to secure a user's leg. The sock body is configured to be worn within a boot.

A zipper-free moisture-permeable waterproof high-top shoe includes a high-top inner sock body having a first foot portion and a first leg portion cooperating with each other to define a foot space. A moisture-permeable waterproof high-top shoe-like sleeve is sleeved on the high-top inner sock body and has a second foot portion. A moisture-permeable waterproof low-top shoe-like sleeve is sleeved on the second foot portion and has a sleeve body. A high-top outer sock body is sleeved on an assembly of the inner sock body, the high-top shoe-like sleeve and the low-top shoe-like sleeve, and has a third foot portion. A sole is fixed to a bottom portion of the third foot portion.
SOCK-LINED FOOTWEAR AND ASSOCIATED MANUFACTURING METHOD
The present disclosure concerns a sock-lined footwear upper defining a foot-receiving cavity and comprising a sock having an outer surface and an inner surface at least partially delimiting the foot-receiving cavity and comprising a heel counter area; an outer layer covering at least partially the outer surface of the sock; and a heel pad at least partially secured to the inner surface of the sock in the heel counter area thereof. The present disclosure also concerns such a heel pad, an item of sock-lined footwear comprising such an upper and a method for manufacturing such an item of sock-lined footwear.

FOOTWEAR
Footwear (2) includes an upper assembly (4) having an outer construction (40, 42) and further having a bootie (50) made with a waterproof, breathable laminate, the waterproof, breathable laminate (51) including a one-piece functional layer (54) and at least one textile layer (56, 58), and a sole (6) attached to the upper assembly, wherein the bootie has elasticity in a circumferential direction of the bootie, wherein the bootie is fixed in position in a toe region (90) of the footwear and fixed in position in a heel region (96) of the footwear, and wherein the bootie is not attached to the outer construction on an upper side of a midfoot portion (92) of the bootie.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING RUBBER BOOT HAVING FOAMED LINING LAYER
A method for manufacturing a rubber boot having a foamed layer includes a first step of coating of boot-shaped lining sheath and a second step of rubber injection. A boot-sole-section coating layer, a boot-vamp-section coating layer, a boot-heel-section coating layer, and a boot-shaft-section coating layer that are coated on a boot-shaped lining sheath, after cured, provide a hardened surface and a stiff support structure among the coating layers that help melted rubber to efficiently flow and fill up runners inside a mold to thereby prevent defects from being formed in a rubber layer formed on a surface of a rubber boot so manufactured.
