Skate
A skate (e.g., an ice skate) for a user (e.g., a hockey player). The skate comprises a skate boot for receiving a foot of the user and a skating device (e.g., a blade and a blade holder) disposed beneath the skate boot to engage a skating surface. The skate boot may be designed to better fit the user's foot and/or enhance skating performance of the user, such as by being shaped in accordance with anatomy of toes of the user's foot and/or enhancing integrity of the skate boot.
Adjustable Footwear Having Interchangeable Panels
The footwear includes a base having a toe portion, a heel portion opposing the toe portion, a base left and right side, and a bottom surface to engage the ground when worn by a user. The footwear additionally includes a base top surface opposing the base bottom surface, a toe box permanently coupled to the toe portion of the base at the top surface, and a counter permanently coupled to the heel portion of the base at the top surface. The footwear further includes a left and right support structure permanently coupled to the top surface of the base between the toe box and the counter on each side of the base, and a detachable left and right panel configured to detachably connect to the respective left and right support structure.
WEARABLE SHOE SHAPER
The present disclosure relates to a shoe shaper or pair of shoe shapers that may be worn by a user while wearing a pair of shoes. In particular, each wearable shoe shaper is a complex contoured sheet configured to fit over a user's left or right foot, respectively, in a front portion of the shoe. Each wearable shoe shaper includes one or more features related to performance and or comfort.
FOOTWEAR
A toe cap structured and arranged to accommodate toes and a portion of an instep of a wearer and to passively warm the toes and portion of the instep, the toe cap including a first portion having plural layers of a first material (e.g., Mylar, biaxially-oriented polyethylene terephthalate (BoPET), and combinations thereof) and a second portion having plural layers of the first material and fixedly attached to the first portion, such that an opening for accommodating the wearer's toes and portion of the instep is formed. In some applications the toe cap may also include a second material that is encapsulated between the plural layers of the first portion and/or between the plural layers of the second portion.
Strain-Hardened Safety Toe For Footwear
A protective device, in particular a safety toe cap, for use with an article of footwear is provided. A safety toe cap of the present technology includes one or more strain hardened portions configured to strengthen or reinforce sections of the safety toe cap against impact, particularly from above. The one or more strain hardened portions have increased strength in relation to adjacent non-strain hardened portions and therefore may maintain adequate protection of a user's toes and foot, while simultaneously allowing for lowered material use and a device with a lightweight, streamlined profile.
MULTI-FUNCTION SNEAKER
A sneaker may comprise an outsole. The outsole may comprise a heel zone disposed adjacent a first end of the outsole. The outsole may comprise a forefoot zone disposed adjacent a second end of the outsole opposite the first end. The forefoot zone may be formed from a first climbing rubber. The outsole may comprise a durability zone disposed at a midfoot of the outsole interposed between the heel zone and forefoot zone. The sneaker may comprise an upper coupled to the outsole. The sneaker may comprise a heel grip having a cup shape configured to be disposed at the first end of the outsole over at least a portion of the heel zone of the outsole and at least a portion of a heel portion of the upper. The sneaker may comprise a toe grip disposed adjacent the vamp of the upper.
Article of Footwear Having A Knitted Component With A Forefoot Portion and A Heel Portion
In one aspect, the present disclosure provides an article of footwear comprising a forefoot portion with a top layer and a bottom layer, where a void is formed between the top layer and the bottom layer. A heel portion is secured to the bottom layer of the forefoot portion and indirectly secured to the top layer through the bottom layer of the forefoot portion, the heel area forming a first portion of a collar. There is at least one extension extending from the heel portion that is secured to an edge of the top layer of the forefoot portion, and the extension forms at least a second portion of the collar.
Strain-Hardened Safety Toe For Footwear
A protective device, in particular a safety toe cap, for use with an article of footwear is provided. A safety toe cap of the present technology includes one or more strain hardened portions configured to strengthen or reinforce sections of the safety toe cap against impact, particularly from above. Toe guard assembly
A toe guard assembly includes a cup that is elongated to insertably receive a toe of an article of footwear. The cup is comprised of a rigid material to protect the toe from impact energy. Each of a pair of engagements extends away from the cup and the engagements are positioned on opposing sides of the cup from each other. A belt is coupled to a respective one of the engagements on the cup and the belt can be extended around a heel of the article of footwear. The belt is releasably matable to a respective one of the engagement to retain the cup on the toe of the article of footwear.
