Article of footwear having a knitted component with a forefoot portion and a heel portion
In one aspect, the present disclosure provides an article of footwear comprising a forefoot portion with a top layer and a bottom layer, where a void is formed between the top layer and the bottom layer. A heel portion is secured to the bottom layer of the forefoot portion and indirectly secured to the top layer through the bottom layer of the forefoot portion, the heel area forming a first portion of a collar. There is at least one extension extending from the heel portion that is secured to an edge of the top layer of the forefoot portion, and the extension forms at least a second portion of the collar.
FOOTWEAR ASSEMBLY HAVING A VULCANIZED RUBBER LAYER AND POLYURETHANE LAYER
The present technology relates generally to a footwear assembly and method of manufacturing said footwear assembly. The footwear assembly includes an outsole and an upper connected to the outsole, where the upper includes a neoprene sock, a vulcanized rubber layer, and an injection molded layer. The neoprene sock is a full-foot neoprene sock having a foot portion that is configured to receive a wearer's foot. The vulcanized rubber layer fully covers a vamp portion, heel portion, toe portion, and ankle portion of the neoprene sock while only covering some of an underfoot portion. The injection molded layer is formed over a portion of the vulcanized rubber layer and completely covers the underfoot portion of the neoprene sock.
Soccer shoe component or insert made of one material and/or a composite and/or laminate of one or more materials for enhancing the performance of the soccer shoe
A soccer shoe absorbs and stores energy from the foot at foot-strike and return some of this energy to the object being struck. The shoe may also cushion the foot, leg and body; provide foot stability and motion control; reduce fatigue; extend the float time of a runner and increase the jump height of the wearer. The shoe is intended to absorb, store and return energy to the object struck, which would otherwise be lost using the existing shoe components and inserts. The shoe has a vertical component that extends around the periphery of the front of the shoe and another component (horizontal) that extends longitudinally from the front of the shoe towards the back of the shoe, at least to about the middle of the shoe, and preferably proximate the heel of the shoe.
Pointe shoes with enhanced impact protection and resistance to moisture degradation
A pointe shoe combines enhanced impact protection for the toes of a dancer provided by at least one viscoelastic polymer layer, with resistance to moisture degradation of internal structural components of the pointe shoe provided by two surrounding layers of silicone that present a moisture barrier against perspiration. The pointe shoe includes a tip portion, front portion, right side portion, and left side portion having an outer fabric layer; an outer silicone layer bonded to the outer fabric layer presenting an outer moisture barrier; a paper mache layer, attached to the silicone layer; a viscoelastic urethane polymer layer, attached to the paper mache layer, to evenly spread impact of pointed toes of the dancer; an inner silicone layer, attached to the viscoelastic urethane polymer layer, the inner silicone layer presenting an inner moisture barrier to protect at least the paper mache layer from moisture; and an inner breathable fabric layer.
Article of footwear with knitted component having plurality of graduated projections
An article of footwear includes a sole structure and an upper that is attached to the sole structure. The upper defines a cavity that is configured to receive a foot of a wearer. The upper is at least partially defined by a textile. The textile includes a first area that is substantially smooth. The first area defines a reference boundary that conforms to the cavity. The textile includes a second area. The second area includes a plurality of projection structures that project away from the reference boundary and outwardly from the cavity at varying heights. The second area includes a plurality of recess structures that recess away from the reference boundary and inwardly toward the cavity. The plurality of projection structures and the plurality of recess structures are in an alternating arrangement across the textile.
FOOTWEAR ARTICLE WITH WEAR GUARD
A footwear article is provided comprising a wear guard, wherein the wear guard includes bellows. In at least one example, the bellows are spaced away from a toe of the footwear article. In one or more examples, the bellows extend along an edge of a lacing structure of the footwear article. Additionally or alternatively, the bellows may be positioned adjacent to a tongue of the footwear article.
SKATE
A skate (e.g., an ice skate) for a user (e.g., a hockey player). The skate comprises a skate boot for receiving a foot of the user and a skating device (e.g., a blade and a blade holder) disposed beneath the skate boot to engage a skating surface. The skate boot may be designed to better fit the user's foot and/or enhance skating performance of the user, such as by being shaped in accordance with anatomy of toes of the user's foot and/or enhancing integrity of the skate boot.
Polyurethane injected boot assembly and associated manufacturing method
A footwear assembly having an upper that comprises a neoprene sock with a foot portion integrally connected to a leg portion. The foot portion has heel, vamp and under-foot portions. The leg portion has front shin, side wall, and rear calf-side portions. The upper has a unitary, outer, injection molded layer molded directly onto the foot and shin portions of the neoprene sock, while the sidewall and rear calf-side portions remain substantially uncovered by the injection molded layer. The injection molded layer encases the foot portion of the neoprene sock. The injection molded layer on the shin portion defines a shin guard portion having a necked down area integrally connected to the injection molded layer at the vamp portion, wherein the shin guard extends upwardly from the necked-down portion in an outwardly diverging shape away from the vamp.
RUBBER REPLACEMENT ARTICLES AND THEIR USE AS FOOTWEAR COMPONENTS
Rubber replacement articles prepared from curable compositions are provided. The curable compositions comprise: (a) an isocyanate-functional prepolymer; (b) a curing agent comprising a mixture of polyamines, wherein at least one polyamine has an amine equivalent weight of 125 to 250; and (c) an abrasion resistant additive comprising organic particles demonstrating a volume average particle size of at least 5 microns. The isocyanate-functional prepolymer is (i) a reaction product of a polyisocyanate and a polyamine having primary and/or secondary amino groups; and/or (ii) a reaction product of a polyisocyanate and a polyol.
Adjustable footwear having interchangeable panels
The footwear includes a base having a toe portion, a heel portion opposing the toe portion, a base left and right side, and a bottom surface to engage the ground when worn by a user.
