A scent distribution device having a spherical housing and having one or more internal cavities in communication with a plurality of wicking members. The wicking members dispersed across the exterior of the housing for the distribution of a scent agent. The device including a harness engaged with an axis of the housing, wherein the housing rotates along the axis for rolling across a surface. The device further including a lead line and segregated and compartmentalized storage container.

Electronic animal trap assembly
10561138 · 2020-02-18 ·

An electronic animal trap assembly for trapping an animal using motion detection includes a box that may be positioned on a support surface. The box has an open end and a rodent pass passes through the open end to enter the box. A door is hingedly coupled to the box and the door is selectively urged between an open position and a closed position. The door is aligned with the open end of the box such that the door selectively exposes and closes the open end. A control unit is coupled to the box and the control unit detects motion within the box. The control unit is operationally coupled to the door. The control unit selectively urges the door into the closed position when the control unit detects motion within the box. In this way the control unit traps the rodent in the box.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MOLECULE DISPENSING

A portable, heated scent, odor, and/or molecule dispense system is provided, as well as devices and methods for doing the same. The portable systems and methods to dispense molecules may contain a liquid, gel, solid, foam, or other material-based formulation so as to attract, repel, kill, mask, or otherwise use the molecules. The portable system and methods may include a housing; a molecule holding pad in the housing; a first chemical reaction heat source in the housing; and a second chemical reaction heat source in the housing, wherein the molecule holding pad is arranged between the first chemical reaction heat source and the second chemical reaction heat source, and wherein the first chemical reaction heat source and the second chemical reaction heat source are each reactive to oxygen.

Composition and method for scent lure composition and dispersal
20200029572 · 2020-01-30 ·

This invention relates to a composition and a method for scent dispersal. More specifically, this invention describes a scent lure method which can be rapidly and conveniently deployed without potential contamination by a hunter's individual scent.

Air movement visualization device
10545164 · 2020-01-28 · ·

A portable device for checking wind direction discharges a visible, and optionally scented, vapor stream into the atmosphere in a well-defined reference direction. In some embodiments, the device includes a power source, a vessel having an internal plenum chamber storing a volume of air, a reservoir containing a vaporizable agent, a vaporizing element associated with the vaporizable agent, and a pressure switch. The vessel is deformable to generate an airflow that operates the pressure switch to temporarily connect the power source to the vaporizing element, thereby energizing the vaporizing element to generate vapor. The airflow also carries the vapor into the atmosphere as a visible vapor stream flowing in the reference direction. The reservoir and vaporizing element may be carried in a cartridge removably mounted on the device. Other embodiments operate similarly, but use alternative means for generating gaseous flow to operate the switch and/or carry vapor into the atmosphere.

Wildlife feeder varmint shield
10542728 · 2020-01-28 ·

The present disclosure includes a varmint shield for a wildlife feeder supported by at least one leg. The varmint shield includes a body having a length, a back side and a front side, a top end and a bottom end; and a first side and a second side. A notch is cut in the top end of the body. A plurality of mounting tabs are formed by bending the body at the notch toward the front side, each including at least one hole for receiving a fastening means such as a screw for securing the body to the wildlife feeder. The body of the varmint shield is bent along its length from the top end to the bottom end at an angle sufficient to deflect feed expelled from the wildlife feeder outwardly and away from the wildlife feeder. The body may also include beads formed along its length for structural strength and cuffs folded along its edges. A first shoulder and a second shoulder are preferably cut in the bottom end of the body. The first shoulder and the second shoulder preferably include edges folded to form cuffs. These cuffs aid in structural rigidity. At least one hole may be drilled in the body adjacent the bottom end for securing the body to the at least one leg of the wildlife feeder.

Wireless Wildlife Observation Intelligence System

A wireless wildlife observation intelligence system includes a timer including intelligent manageability software; data collection hub including a camera and temperature sensor, wirelessly connected at least one of a cloud based-system or user; an antenna; a mobile app; a solar panel; a rechargeable battery; a feed hopper including a feed level indicator; an access point range extender; and a motor operatively connected to the timer and feed hopper and a method for wireless wildlife observation, using the system for capturing still and video data along with metadata values of: date, time, moon phase, gps coordinates, location name, temperature, and weather conditions to create reporting and algorithms which trigger actions/send commands to other connected devices; and performing at least one of automatically adjusting the scheduled feed dispersion times of a timer based on the natural times when animals come to the feed location as well as report optimal visit times that are specific to that location's environment.

INTERACTIVE DEER SCENT DISPLAY APPARATUS AND RELATED METHOD
20190380328 · 2019-12-19 ·

An interactive scent display device with a plurality of communicative scent surfaces disposed in an anatomically correct dispersion for attracting deer. A hunter or game observer can easily and quickly emplace place it the device in a desired tree or ground location. The interactive scent display device provides a visual attractant to deer and displays the natural or synthetic gland scents deer use in communication within the herd.

HUNTING METHOD
20240099293 · 2024-03-28 ·

A hunting method utilizes a scent blocker to block the scent mark of a mating male animal, such as a hooved animal including a buck, to cause the male animal to investigate the scent mark area to remark their scent mark. Often times a buck will rub their antlers on a tree with their antlers to produce a tree rub and then leave a scent mark in a scrape under the tree. They will then wait in an area downwind and if they detect a female scent or if their own scent mark is not detected, they may will revisit the location for investigation. A scent blocker may be applied to or over the scent mark and may be an absorptive scent blocker, a chemically reactive scent blocker, a masking scent blocker, a blocking scent blocker that is substantially non-permeable, or any combination thereof.
