SPRAYABLE GELLING ANIMAL ATTRACTANT
A gel-based and sprayable animal attractant composition is provided that comprises at least one synthetic scent. Generally, the gel-based animal attractant composition can be applied through the use of an aerosol spray can and can be formulated to attract specific types of animals, in particular ruminants. More specifically, the animal attractant can comprise a synthetic scent designed to mimic the urine of a doe in estrus.
Variably controlled lighting mechanism for feeders
A variably controlled lighting mechanism, sometimes referenced as a hog light, may be attached to the underside of a feeder and used in non-daylight hours to provide selective illumination through more than one color of LED light that may be inset within the hog light. The hog light may include one or more sensors that may be triggered based on motion by animals within the vicinity of the hog light. The hog light may then turn on and stay lit for a specified length of time or until no further movement is detected. A wireless remote may include a series of inputs that may control various aspects of the hog light, particularly to illuminate the different LED lights that are integrated within the hog light, as well as to control the motor and/or feeder. The hog light also may be manually operated to selectively illuminate the different LED lights.
Electronic Animal Trap Assembly
An electronic animal trap assembly for trapping an animal using motion detection includes a box that may be positioned on a support surface. The box has an open end and a rodent pass passes through the open end to enter the box. A door is hingedly coupled to the box and the door is selectively urged between an open position and a closed position. The door is aligned with the open end of the box such that the door selectively exposes and closes the open end. A control unit is coupled to the box and the control unit detects motion within the box. The control unit is operationally coupled to the door. The control unit selectively urges the door into the closed position when the control unit detects motion within the box. In this way the control unit traps the rodent in the box.
INTERACTIVE DEER SCENT DISPLAY APPARATUS AND RELATED METHOD
An interactive scent display device with a plurality of communicative scent surfaces disposed in an anatomically correct dispersion for attracting deer. A hunter or game observer can easily and quickly emplace place it the device in a desired tree or ground location. The interactive scent display device provides a visual attractant to deer and displays the natural or synthetic gland scents deer use in communication within the herd.
Device for creating and distributing vaporized scent
A scent vaporizing and distribution device uses an electric heating element to rapidly vaporize a liquid scent material. An airflow generator is used to create a distribution airflow that distributes the vapor from the device. The airflow generator can be an electric-powered fan or a manually-powered pump or squeezable bladder. The liquid scent material can include a glycol or a water-glycol mixture. A scent material such as liquid or powdered deer urine or a pleasant scent that can be used as a room or automobile or room freshener is mixed with the liquid. The vapor generator can be removable and replaceable such that different scents can be used with a single airflow generator or an empty generator can be replaced.
SCENT DISPENSER/ABSORBER AND METHOD USING SAME
A scent dispenser/absorber includes a pair of cylindrical housing members arranged coaxially about a common longitudinal axis such that the inner housing member is rotatably received in an interior chamber of the outer housing member. Each housing member has a peripheral sidewall provided with a set of radially extending apertures. A scent cartridge is removably disposed within an interior chamber of the inner housing member to absorb undesirable odors, or to emit desirable scents. By manually controlling the relative rotational positions of the housing members, a user can align or misalign the two sets of apertures, thereby enabling or disabling the transfer of scents or odors between the scent cartridge and the surrounding environment.
HUNTING DECOY
A hunting decoy that includes: a motorized base; a speaker, where the speaker emits sounds and is mounted on the motorized base; a scent emitter within the motorized base; a faux animal covering; and a set of wheels. The set of wheels preferably includes four wheels. The sounds emitted by the decoy preferably includes a plurality of predetermined animal calls. The motorized base may be electrically powered and include a suspension system. A user uses a remote control device to control movement of the hunting decoy over a terrain.
Hunting-Attractant Dispenser
The hunting-attractant dispenser is an apparatus that allows only the attractant solution, which is immediately consumed by an animal, to be accessed. The apparatus includes a supply tank, an attractant slot, a wheel, and an axle rod. The supply tank contains attractant solution. The attractant slot allows an animal to access the attractant solution within the supply tank. The wheel delivers attractant solution from within the supply tank to the tongue and the mouth of an animal. Moreover, the wheel allows an animal to engage the apparatus and drink the attractant solution. The axle rod allows the wheel to rotate. Moreover, the wheel allows the attractant solution to continuously cover the wheel as the wheel rotates. The apparatus further includes a first elongated mounting brace and a second elongated mounting brace, both of which stabilizes the apparatus onto the ground.
Selective Access System For A Feeder
A selective access system, and methods of making and using such a system, whereby the selective access system includes a container having an interior space defined by a side wall disposed between opposing top and bottom walls; an opening disposed within the side wall, the opening communicating with the interior space; and a cover slidably engaged with the container, the cover configured to slide upward and downward between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the cover overlays the opening; in the second position, the cover disposes away from at least a portion of the opening to permit access to the interior space. The selective access system can further include an electrical conductor coupled to the container, whereby the electrical conductor can deliver a nonlethal electrical shock to an animal which comes into contact therewith to deter the animal from the selective access system.
