Portable backpack feeder apparatus
A portable backpack feeder apparatus including a granular-material container having a filling opening and a gravity-flow opening and flow sleeve extending from the gravity-flow opening of the container to an outflow opening, the flow sleeve being flexible along its length for manual flow control and for positioning and aiming the outflow opening.
Scent dispenser system and method of dispensing scent from a liquid
A scent dispenser system used for dispensing scent from a liquid. The system includes a dispenser having an open volume. The system includes absorbent beads in the open volume of the dispenser, where the absorbent beads having the capability to absorb a liquid. The system includes aeration windows in the dispenser to receive a liquid and to allow air to pass through the dispenser and about the absorbent beads.
Drip bag systems, methods and applications
Systems, devices, and methods for a one-time disposable device arrangement for dispersing liquids of varying viscosities, or their constituents, in a metered manner over a definable period of time. The invention employs a flexible reservoir, of varying size, shape, and configuration, along with a calculated, finite length of looped flexible tubing, one of varying size, shape and configuration. The device arrangement can be hung over an area where it is desired to attract animals such as deer by dispensing liquids, such as but not limited to animal attractants, such as deer urine and buck jam, and the like.
AIR MOVEMENT VISUALIZATION DEVICE
A portable device for checking wind direction discharges a visible, and optionally scented, vapor stream into the atmosphere in a well-defined reference direction. In some embodiments, the device includes a power source, a vessel having an internal plenum chamber storing a volume of air, a reservoir containing a vaporizable agent, a vaporizing element associated with the vaporizable agent, and a pressure switch. The vessel is deformable to generate an airflow that operates the pressure switch to temporarily connect the power source to the vaporizing element, thereby energizing the vaporizing element to generate vapor. The airflow also carries the vapor into the atmosphere as a visible vapor stream flowing in the reference direction. The reservoir and vaporizing element may be carried in a cartridge removably mounted on the device. Other embodiments operate similarly, but use alternative means for generating gaseous flow to operate the switch and/or carry vapor into the atmosphere.
PORTABLE ATTRACTANT FOR WILD GAME
A portable attractant including a container, an absorbent pad and a heat bag is provided. The container is porous to allow scent from the absorbent pad to escape the container. The absorbent pad is disposed within the container and is operable to retain a scent substance within. The heat bag may be disposed in the container adjacent the absorbent pad. The heat bag includes a pouch and a mixture disposed within the pouch. The mixture is configured to produce an exothermic reaction, thereby heating the scent and making the scent exiting the container more prominent.
ROLLING GAME FEED DISPENSER ASSEMBLY
A game feeder assembly for feeding game animals on a game trail includes a feed container for containing a granular animal feed. The feed container is continuously arcuate about a center line of the feed container to facilitate the feed container to be rolled along the ground by an animal. The feed container has a plurality of feed holes to release the granular animal feed when the feed container is rolled along the ground thereby enticing the animal to remain with the feed container. A lid is removably attachable to 10 the feed container for closing the feed container and retaining the granular animal feed in the feed container.
Attachable Wind Detection Device
A device for an attachable wind detector that affixes directly to hunting equipment, outdoor gear, headgear, or clothing, allowing for wind detection without unnecessary hand movements. In an embodiment, the wind detection device comprises an enclosure filled with powder or liquid, an enclosure holder, a swivel, and an attachment device, and a dispensing tube, designed to be attached to hunting equipment, outdoor gear, outdoor structures, headgear, or clothing, wherein pressing on the outside of the device causes a puff of powder or vapor to be dispensed into the air, allowing the user to determine wind direction.
Interactive deer scent display apparatus and related method
An interactive scent display device with a plurality of communicative scent surfaces disposed in an anatomically correct dispersion for attracting deer. A hunter or game observer can easily and quickly emplace place it the device in a desired tree or ground location. The interactive scent display device provides a visual attractant to deer and displays the natural or synthetic gland scents deer use in communication within the herd.
Hunting method
A hunting method utilizes a scent blocker to block the scent mark of a mating male animal, such as a hooved animal including a buck, to cause the male animal to investigate the scent mark area to remark their scent mark. Often times a buck will rub their antlers on a tree with their antlers to produce a tree rub and then leave a scent mark in a scrape under the tree. They will then wait in an area downwind and if they detect a female scent or if their own scent mark is not detected, they may will revisit the location for investigation. A scent blocker may be applied to or over the scent mark and may be an absorptive scent blocker, a chemically reactive scent blocker, a masking scent blocker, a blocking scent blocker that is substantially non-permeable, or any combination thereof.
Game Alert System
A game alert system includes a device mountable on a game feeder that detects motion in a target area and automatically sends an electronic signal to a user, or a hunter, in a remote location to notify the hunter of movement in the area, without alerting or startling animals that triggered the device.
