ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR WITH IMPROVED STRUCTURE
An article of footwear including a first envelope, the first envelope extending lengthwise from a rear end to a front end, widthwise between a lateral side and a medial side, and heightwise from a bottom to a top end. The article of footwear further includes a functional component arranged opposite the first envelope, as well as a positioner to position the functional component with respect to the envelope.
Shoe Heel Counter
A counter for a shoe having an upper, a lining configured to be connected with the upper along a top edge of the shoe, a cushioning heel pillow arranged in a position opposite the heel of a wearer's foot, and an insole forming a foot bed of the shoe. The counter includes a member having an upper edge having a cut-out region forming a valley, a lower edge forming an anchor region, and first and second side wings. The counter is configured to be positioned between the lining and the upper at a heel portion of the shoe such that, in an assembled shoe, the first and second side wings wrap around the heel of the shoe and the valley accommodates an extension of the heel pillow therethrough.
SAFETY SLIPPER
A safety slipper (10) includes a stretchable fabric material upper portion (12) and a porous anti-skid lower portion. The upper portion has a foot opening (16) and a profile heel pocket (17). The lower portion (13) is made from a scrim cloth type material having a knit of polyester threads (21) coated with a soft poly-vinyl chloride outer layer (22). The lower portion provides for a cris-crossing pattern or matrix of interconnected nodes (23) with spaces (24) therebetween.
Shoe and method for manufacturing thereof
A shoe including: a sock-shaped base member forming at least a portion of an upper; a reinforcement member made of a thermoplastic resin welded to side surfaces of the base member on a medial side and a lateral side of a foot; and a mid sole made of a thermoplastic resin welded to a bottom surface of the base member.

Footwear with sole protection
The present disclosure relates to an item of footwear with sole protection. The footwear has an upper adapted to receive a foot of the wearer; a sole secured to the upper and adapted to be the interface between the wearer and the ground; and a puncture resistant layer embedded into the sole so as to provide the sole protection for the foot of the wearer, the puncture resistant layer having an outer edge exceeding an inner perimeter of the item of footwear defined by a junction between the upper and the sole.

COMPOSITE LAMINATED STRUCTURE FOR SHOE STIFFENER AND PREPARING METHOD THEREOF
The present invention is related to a composite laminated structure for shoe stiffeners and preparing method thereof. The composite laminated structure comprises: a fabric core layer, and a hot-melt-adhesive layer covering and interpenetrating the fabric core layer, wherein the fabric core layer comprises a fabric having a fabric count of about 61 to 13 wpi and about 60 to 30 fpi and a weight more than or equal to 100 g/m.sup.2. Preparing methods for said composite laminated structure are very simple processes. With the fabric core layer, proper performances could be achieved with simple hot-melt-adhesives. High level of cheap fillers, such as recycled materials, inorganic fillers or the mixture thereof, could be added while still maintaining excellent split tear strength, resilience and bending stiffness. Thus, the use of virgin materials and the overall cost could be greatly reduced for shoe stiffeners.
Adjustable heel support member for article of footwear
An adjustable heel support member includes a base portion and an extended portion. The extended portion comprises a lateral portion, a medial portion and a rearward portion. The heel support member further includes a fastening member that can be used to adjust the lateral portion, the medial portion and the rearward portion to resize the heel support member. In some cases, the fastening member may be an elastic ring.
