Article of footwear having heel portion with knitted component
An article of footwear includes a sole structure and an upper coupled to the sole structure. The upper includes a lower edge that is disposed adjacent to the sole structure. The upper further includes a collar defining an opening to a void within the upper. The collar defines an upper edge of the upper that is spaced away from the lower edge. The upper includes a forward portion and a heel portion. The heel portion includes a knitted component of unitary knit construction. The knitted component at least partially defines the upper edge and the lower edge of the upper. The knitted component includes a first side edge that is attached to the forward portion along a first side. The knitted component also includes a second side edge that is attached to the forward portion along a second side.
FOOTWEAR COMPRISING A DYNAMIC MATERIAL EXHIBITING TOPOGRAPHIC TRANSFORMATION
An upper of an article of footwear including a dynamic material configured for topographic transformation to alter at least one of a fit, an insulation, or a ventilation, of the article of footwear.
Article of footwear incorporating a knitted component for a heel portion of an upper
An article of footwear may include an upper and a sole structure secured to the upper. The upper has a knitted component formed of unitary knit construction that includes at least one gore region located in a heel region of the article of footwear. The gore region provides a contoured configuration to the knitted component. In a method of manufacturing, a knitted component may include a first gore region and a plurality of second gore regions, with the first gore region being located in a heel area of the article of footwear and the second gore regions being located adjacent to the sole structure.
Articles of footwear with an alternate fastening system
An article of footwear has an upper with tensioning components. The upper includes a fastening system with a tensioning device. The tensioning device may be utilized with a plurality of cables. The tensioning device is removably attached to the upper by a clasp element to facilitate entry of a foot into the article of footwear, or exit of a foot from the article of footwear. The tensioning device can allow the lengths of the cables to readily change in order to accommodate different foot shapes.
Three Toed Footwear
An article of footwear having an upper secured to an outsole in combination having three toe pockets, the first toe pocket having a configuration to separately receive within a big toe of a wearer, and the second toe pocket having a configuration to separately receive within a second toe of the wearer, and the third toe pocket having a configuration to receive within the remaining third toe, fourth toe and fifth toe of the wearer.
FOOTWEAR WITH RETENTION SYSTEM
Footwear (1) with retention system (2) comprising an upper (4) delimiting an inner space; the retention system (2) is positioned at least partially in the inner space and comprises at least one constraint element (10A, 10B, 10C) designed to be positioned at the top instep area or at the side/heel area of the foot of the user, the at least one constraint element (10A, 10B, 10C) being designed to pass from a loose condition to a tightened condition and vice versa. The retention system (2) further comprises a cord (14) slidably coupled to the at least one constraint element (10A, 10B, 10C), tensioning means (22) connected to a first portion (15) of the cord (14) and designed to be handled by the user for pulling the cord (14) into a tensioned condition to bring the at least one constraint element (10) in the tightened condition and locking means (24) for locking the cord (14) in tensioned condition.
OVERSHOES AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING OVERSHOES
