A sneaker may comprise an outsole. The outsole may comprise a heel zone disposed adjacent a first end of the outsole. The outsole may comprise a forefoot zone disposed adjacent a second end of the outsole opposite the first end. The forefoot zone may be formed from a first climbing rubber. The outsole may comprise a durability zone disposed at a midfoot of the outsole interposed between the heel zone and forefoot zone. The sneaker may comprise an upper coupled to the outsole. The sneaker may comprise a heel grip having a cup shape configured to be disposed at the first end of the outsole over at least a portion of the heel zone of the outsole and at least a portion of a heel portion of the upper. The sneaker may comprise a toe grip disposed adjacent the vamp of the upper.

An article of footwear includes an upper defining a throat configured to receive a foot. The article of footwear also includes a sole structure coupled to the upper. The article of footwear further includes a panel having a first side coupled to the upper for movement between an open position and a closed position. The panel exposes a portion of the throat in the open position and covers the portion of the throat in the closed position. The sole assembly may include a midsole portion forming a substantially planar surface for supporting the foot and an outsole portion including the plurality of outsole projections extending from the midsole portion. The frame may include a plurality of through holes corresponding to the plurality of outsole projections. The plurality of outsole projections may extend through the plurality of through holes so as to form a ground contacting surface. The sport sandal provides a user with improved forefront control, improved lateral side traction on the user's toes, improved comfort, and a reduction of forward pressure on the user's toes.

An article of footwear may include a sole structure and an upper. The upper may include a first section and a second section and may define a foot-receiving cavity over the sole structure. The first section may be fixed to the sole structure, and the second section may articulate relative to the first section between an access position and a use position, the foot-receiving cavity being more exposed when the second section is in the access position. A method of manufacturing the article of footwear includes placing an upper on a last, applying adhesive on an inner surface of a sole structure, placing a guide on the adhesive, the tensioning component on the guide, and the inner surface of the sole structure against an outer surface of the upper.

An article of footwear includes a strap system having a medial strap, a lateral strap, and a heel strap. The medial strap extends from a proximal end to a distal end selectively attachable to the upper at the lateral side. The lateral strap extends from a proximal end to a distal end selectively attachable to the upper at the medial side. The heel strap has a proximal portion fixed at the heel region and a distal portion selectively attachable to the upper by a heel strap fastener. The strap fastener is operable to attach one of the distal end of the medial strap and the distal end of the lateral strap to the heel strap.
