Device for adjusting length of string
Provided is a device having an improved structure that lowers the unit cost and failure rate of a product by reducing the number of components and improves the assemblability, consistency in quality, operational stability, and convenience of future servicing of the product. In the device, a shaft and a shaft coupling part of a winding drum are simply coupled without a separate coupling member as a protruding portion formed on the shaft becomes caught in a catching portion formed on the shaft coupling part.
KNITTED COMPONENT WITH INSERTED ELEMENTS
An article of footwear may include a knitted component that at least partially forms an upper. The knitted component may include a first knit layer and a second knit layer, the first knit layer being separable from the second knit layer such that a pocket is located between the first knit layer and the second knit layer. A cable may be located at least partially within the channel. A cable guide may additionally be located at least partially within the channel, where the cable guide includes at least one curved surface for contacting the cable. The cable may extend around the at least one curved surface such that the cable changes directions within the channel.
CONFIGURATIONS FOR FOOTWEAR EMPLOYING REEL BASED CLOSURE SYSTEMS
A shoe includes a sole and an upper that is attached to the sole. The upper has a first side and a second side that fit around a wearer's foot when the shoe is fit about the wearer's foot. The shoe also includes a strap or panel having a proximal end that is attached to one side of the shoe and a distal end that extends toward an opposite side of the shoe. A tension member is guided or directed about a path along the shoe and a tightening mechanism is operable with the tension member to effect tensioning of the tension member. The strap or panel includes a first guide and a second guide and the tension member is routed through both the first guide and the second guide of the strap or panel.
SKI BOOT
A ski boot, including an outer boot (200) and an inner boot (100); the outer boot (100) comprise a sole (110) and a vamp (120), the sole (110) being integral; the vamp (120) includes a right side portion (122) of the vamp and a left side portion (123) of the vamp, the right side portion (122) of the vamp and the left side portion (123) of the vamp being hinged on the sole (110) such that the same may rotate relative to the sole (110) between an open state and a closed state; the outer boot (100) further includes a locking device (130) and a locking wire (140); the locking wire (140) surrounds the vamp (120) at a plurality of locations on the vamp (120), may be buried in the locking device (130) so as to keep the right side portion (122) of the vamp and the left side portion (123) of the vamp in the closed state, and may be released from the locking device (130) to allow the right side portion of the vamp (122) and the left side portion of the vamp (123) rotate to the open state. Therefore, the ski boot may facilitate a skier putting on and taking off the outer boot (100).
Reel based lacing system
A lacing system configured to selectively adjust the size of an opening on an object and allow for the incremental release of the lace within the lacing system. The lacing system can have a reel comprising a housing, a spool supported by the housing, and a knob supported by the housing. The reel can be configured so that cable is gathered in the channel formed in the spool when the spool is rotated in a first direction relative to the housing, and so that cable can be incrementally released from the spool when the spool is rotated in a second direction relative to the housing. In some embodiments, the reel can include a rotation limiter which can be configured to prevent over-tightening of the lacing system and/or to prevent rotation past the substantially fully loosened state.
HALLUX VALGUS SANDAL HAVING AT LEAST ONE GREAT TOE STRAP SECTION AND ONE HOLDING STRAP SECTION
A hallux valgus sandal for treating at least great toe malpositions, having a sole element with an outsole and a footbed, with a great toe strap section for the lateral positional fixing of the great toe and with a holding strap section, which holds the sandal on the foot when the sandal is worn. The wrap length of the great toe strap section can be changed in such a way that an adjustable corrective force can be exerted on the great toe. A metatarsus strap section is also provided, the wrap length of which can be changed, wherein both strap sections can be coupled to each other such that a metatarsus corrective force acting laterally on the metatarsal bone can be varied to press the metatarsal bone on the foot inner side in the lateral direction towards the foot outer side. As a result of said metatarsus corrective force, a hallux corrective force in the direction toward the foot inner side can be exerted, wherein the great toe strap section is guided backwards from the great toe at an angle and enters a channel on the inside of the sole element that is arranged in the metatarsus region of the sandal.
SELF-OPENING SHOE
A shoe-opening spring includes a base with a medial edge and a lateral edge, a medial spring protruding upwardly from the medial edge of the base, and a lateral edge protruding upwardly from the lateral edge of the base. When the shoe-opening spring is present within a shoe and in a relaxed arrangement, the medial spring and the lateral spring may respectively exert medially and laterally outward forces against respective medial and lateral sides of the shoe. When the medial and lateral sides of the upper of the shoe are pulled together, for example, with a closure of the shoe, the shoe-opening spring may be placed in a tensed arrangement, in which state the shoe-opening spring may remain until the closure is released.
Lacing apparatus for automated footwear platform
Systems and apparatus related to automated tightening of a footwear platform including a footwear lacing apparatus are discussed. In an example, a footwear lacing apparatus can include a housing structure, a spool, and a drive mechanism. The housing structure can include a top section and a bottom section. The spool can include a superior surface, a lace spool under the superior surface and a spool shaft with a keyed connection pin. The spool can also be integrated into the top section of the housing structure. The drive mechanism can couple with the spool via the keyed connection pin on the spool shaft. The drive mechanism can be adapted to rotate the spool to tighten or loosen a lace cable integrated into the footwear.
Lacing architecture for automated footwear platform
Systems and apparatus related to an automated footwear platform including an actuator assembly for controlling a footwear lacing apparatus are discussed. In an example, an Lacing architectures for automated footwear assemblies are discussed. In an example, a footwear assembly can include a floating tongue within an upper assembly. The lacing architecture can include a first plurality or lace guides forming a first lacing zone and a second plurality of lace guides forming a second lacing zone. The lacing architecture can also include a tongue lace guide assembly secure to a proximal portion of the floating tongue.
